About this apartment rental

Vicolo del Cefalo is a recently renovated one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a historic Renaissance building, Palazzo Sacchetti. It benefits from an independent entrance on the alley by the same name, but due to its position as part of the mansion it is really on Via Giulia, minutes from Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Farnese, with Trastevere, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Vatican, Piazza Navona all easily reachable on foot. It’s one of the best and most sought after areas in the city center, and it’s easy to see why!

This property is in the dominant tones of white and natural wood, with wooden floors in the main space, which serves as both a bedroom and dining/living room. The main feature here is a canopy which doubles up as a mezzanine, housing a second double bed.

Guests with mobility issues are welcome here and will find it easy to pass the two steps separating the accommodation from the street level, but they will surely choose the double bed under the canopy rather than the one on top. More generally speaking, we recommend this flat to young families or two couples of friends traveling together.

This main area can also be used as a workspace: a nice built-in closet will help stow away your equipment, or your suitcases and your Roman shopping!

The small kitchen is fully equipped and you can count on it to help you prepare quick meals during your stay in Rome: in addition to pots, pans, cutlery and other utensils, there is an oven, a microwave, an electric kettle, a toaster, a fridge with freezer compartment and a small dishwasher.

In the bathroom, complete with a shower, you will also find a washing machine.

Vicolo del Cefalo comes with independent heating in the winter, and an air conditioning system in the summer (the unit is located in the main area, where the beds are). In addition, guests will find a smart TV, so as to connect to their favorite streaming services, and a free Wi-Fi connection

Standard check-in: from 3 pm to 9 pm (With self-service check-in, guests can enter after 9:00 PM without any additional charges).

Check-out by 10 am

Upon request, we are flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on the apartment's availability and cleaning requirements.

Check-in is self-service. To receive the access details, guests must complete the online form with all the required mandatory information. An extra fee for check-in in person of € 35 will be charged for check-ins on the following dates: December 25, January 1, Easter Sunday and August 15th.

Check-in is by self-check-in. It is MANDATORY for the guest to fill out the online form I will send when booking the property, providing their ID information as required by Italian law. Additionally, the rental contracts are included within the form, and signing them is mandatory. The form must be completed within 48 hours of the guest's arrival in Rome. The apartment was in a suite and safe area. The staff communicated ahead of time and made sure to meet us upon check in to walk us through everything. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a great time in this place. It’s little but offers so much in location, cleanliness & AC. The check in process was easy. We will definitely be back & would recommend to others.

First - this place is just a fantastic location. Central to everything and just a great quiet neighborhood. We are a family of 4 doing our first European trip. So we don't have all the ins and outs of traveling in Europe. Since we are spoiled at home with wonderful showers and drainage system, this house shower was just a nightmare. It won't drain fast enough, so we are constantly standing in a puddle and having to turn off the water to let it drain. Taking showers at night with 4 people and waiting for it to drain was horrible. On the bright side, the water pressure and temperature were the best! Secondly, the shower also needs a way to drain into the shower. The side alcove tends to cause water to drip outside.Third there is a washer, but no dryer. Hanging clothes out to dry for 4 days was not our vacation dreams. So, if you know how to circumnavigate those 2 challenges, I definitely recommend this place. Close to bus system. Close to Vatican City, Trastevere, Piazza Navona, etc. So it comes down to the love hate aspect of the house. I do recommend the owner correct the drainage issue and have a recommendation on how to dry or add a dryer. So close...
