So happy to have found such a delightful place to stay near Orleans as we make the journey from the UK regularly. The chateau has been beautifully restored. Very high quality everything and so peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised that dinner was available as this is not quite clear on the website, but we were treated to several copious local specialties in a beautiful dining room.
As much as I love the l beautiful old wooden floors they are very noisy. This tends to be a common problem in grand old houses and we have sometimes avoided similar properties in the past because it definitely disturbs other guests. I am not suggesting that you put carpets everywhere, but perhaps guests could be asked to remove outdoor shoes in the same way one does at home.
