We enjoyed our stay, beautiful lake view

Breakfast was perfect to start my day, staff were friendly, we’re late check in at 10 and resto was closed but staff helped us to call the pizza store near the hotel for late dinner. Location was perfect, just accross the street are the boat cruise.

Haha, we left our luggage because we went for boat tour and when we came back the guy asking me if I return the key and my luggage has note that I forgot to return the key, I said watch the camera. I am Sure that I returned the key. Hopefully he found the key at this time😊

Nice location and breakfast room staff, let down by bedding and price

Location and breakfast and staff in breakfast room.

No one in reception, having to rely on staff in breakfast room to get him. Bedding was rough and scratchy - not up to even a basic standard hotel. Should be soft. Pillow very difficult to get comfy. Room very expensive for what it was - a superior room.

A very well situated hotel by the Lake.

A super position by the Ferry to Lucerne. A lovely view from our room, good breakfast and convenient garage parking

The lady in Reception was unable to speak English and we were given very vague instructions to access the garage and check into the hotel.

Perfect,quiet get away in a stunning location.

The hotel was super quiet and in a quaint location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Luzern. We felt like a local in this town. Everyone was very kind and it was super peaceful and relaxing. Our room had an amazing view of Lake Luzern. It’s was directly next to the bus stop and Boat that takes you across the lake. They had a nice water front area to relax on. And the restaurant at the hotel was delicious. Everything you need in one place.

The hotel was clean and the hotel staff was nice. The breakfast was reasonable.

The reservation was for a large double bed but we got two beds pushed together. It's not comfortable for a couple. In the end they found us a suite with a large double bed but of course they charged extra for it and the bed was not comfortable.

Extremely disappointed...

The location and views are heavenly. The food we had in the evening pretty good too. Restaurant was a nice space with decent fixtures and fittings.

Young staff miserable and couldn't be bothered. The room was dusty and needed a good clean. We were told the Spa wasn't open until June which when we questioned at check out transpired to be a lie...they just couldn't be bothered setting it up for us. The Hotel is very expensive for what it is. The room and bathroom is looking tired and needs updating. Breakfast was very average...beige and bland. The Hotel Manager was very apologetic on check out..seems he's having a bit of a rough time with poor staff.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

It was my 2nd time staying at this property with family. 1st time was in Aug. 2021 and my review is still (more or less) the same as the last time with few additions/subtractions: Breakfast. Friendly Staff. Location (just 12-15 km from Rigi, 40-45 mins drive to Mount Pilatus) View from Hotel is exceptional. Bus Stop right in front of Hotel (Bus No. 502 & 508) Ferry station right in front of Hotel There is a small store (Volg) just 3-4 mins walk from Hotel A few Restaurants/Pizzeria within walking distance from Hotel Last time there was a kids play area but now you can find toys for kids inside the family rooms

WiFi was very bad on the 2nd floor. Rooms NEED to have Garbage bins (apart from those small ones inside toilets). It was very difficult to take care of the garbage specially with small kids.

A hidden peaceful gem on the northern shores of Lake Lucerne.

Enjoyed everything about this place! Johnny met us for checkin. Sabrina was a server in alllll the restaurants and was very attentive. Amy was our server for an incredible steak dinner at 400 Degree steakhouse. It was definitely the time of year we visited because we felt like we were the only guests there. There’s no way this place during their busy season isn’t fully booked - make sure your book early for their high season stay or go in the off season like we did….So quiet and peaceful!

Quite relaxing , great village , hotel restaurant expensive, but could swim in lake out front.

The breakfast was fine ,standard Swiss Hotel fare ,plenty of everything including fresh fruits. Beds were comfortable - but sheets rather than duvets would have been better due to high temp.

There was no Air conditionings - a fan was provided and you then could leave the door open. However this meant you got the street noise which was considerable at times as it is opposite the ferry terminal and has buses going until at least 12pm most nights

An average hotel, was acceptable for one night.

Quite basic, garage space was tight and difficult to access. was only offered a standard menu, which consisted of fish or veggie option. Although after we had eaten other people were offered a meat choice.

Lovely stay but hotel needs a bit of TLC and a full-time receptionist

The location was fabulous and I think this is what the hotel trades on. The room was fine and had a small balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely, The hotel had a lift which was very welcome as I have mobility problems and find climbing stairs quite difficult. Hotel parking was available and this was a plus. The hotel is located opposite the boat station and there is a very regular bus service from outside the hotel door. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice of food was available. All in all, my wife and I enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is looking a bit tired and jaded and could do with a face lift. There is no full-time receptionist and for a hotel of this size a receptionist is a necessity. The internet connection was very hit and miss and could have been better.

Very friendly welcome, theoretically a big choice of F&B outlets, lovely lakeside location with balcony overlooking the lake, very quiet at night, comfortable bed

Rooms and décor on guest floors looks somewhat dated and in need of modernization. I stayed when all F&B outlets were closed. Sound insulation toward lake and main road is insufficient. Given the location is very quiet at night, being a light sleeper the first cars passing at 5.30 or 6.00 in the morning woke me up. I found the room rate high for the lack of amenities/features during my stay

Amazing place !! Away from the crowds

I was looking to spend some quality relaxing time away from the crowds , I am glad I chose this place . Nestled between the mountains and the edge of the river , this place checked all the boxes . The staff are just amazing and super friendly .

Nothing in particular just a couple of things: There was a Small Play Area for Kids inside the Hotel. It seems that no one is taking care/cleaning it regularly. Free Car Parking is available around the Hotel. However sometimes it's full. Then you have to Park in the Hotel Garage (10 CHF/night) which is not very spacious. If you have a SUV you will not fit in there.
