Breakfast was excellent! the room incredible and good location. The people very nice and helpfull.

Clean room, decent price, thou i was charged a city tax on my arrival, when I thought I had already had that included when I paid on booking.com Shower was excellent, thou 1 morning there was no hot water for a while and I had to enquire what was happening.

TV kept getting interference and a few times went onto the auto tune mode. The mirror was by the door and in a dark area and had no socket nearby, so my wife had to dry her hair in the bathroom and use her straighteners there too, which meant pulling the chair in from the bedroom. Also and a big point was the reception staff seemed to ignore you as you walked in or out of the hotel. In other HF hotels in Spain, the staff always make a point of saying hello as you walk past reception. Most of the staff kept their heads down, too involved in their phones.

I always stay when I come work in Porto. It's not too big, spacious rooms with good toiletries and a confortable bed, good WiFi, very clean, quiet, nice breakfast, lovely staff. It seems popular with older groups of tourists and it's easy to understand why. Good value for money and absolutely nothing ever goes wrong.
