Found ants on the bed and in room, hotel did not feel secure, doorframes were broken, and all around not well kept or secure. Left on the first day.

MISLEADING PHOTOS!! We booked based on good reviews & management photos showing a garden & outdoor seating areas. Imagine our surprise to find this to be misleading compared to reality! At check-in, we were bombarded with cigarette smoke. The very old lady wasnt pleasant & spoke only Italian. Our room was the first from the lobby. We closed the adjoining door but there was more cigarette smoke,this time coming from the open door down the hall where there’s a tiny smoking area with seating.The room was small with no armchairs, minimal lighting, the only light at the bed didn’t work, nor did the promised a/c. When I sat on the bed to read, the bottom of the mattress and frame suddenly lifted up! There was a hole in the wall and everything was several decades old.Breakfast wasn’t in the room pictured on the ground floor but in the basement, down from the smoking area. There were only 2 small tables of food, not the spread pictured online. The only protein was a platter of ham with 2 pieces left, 1 cheese & some yogurt. Ham was never replenished both days we were there despite more people coming in!It turns out that the beautiful outdoor areas are part of their restaurant business that we had no access to & the front gate was closed. All in all, we were very disappointed & hope the rating of this lodging is reduced to what it should be. It’s obvious that nothing has been to improve this place for decades!! Remove the misleading photos!

Horrible! I walked in the lobby and is reeked of cigarette smoke. Checked in and they have me one key on a 3lb key chain. We parked in the “parking garage” that only had 5 spaces because it was full of old furniture and building materials. We got to our room and it was so tiny we could barely move around. The furniture was all old and damaged. The bathroom was awful and only had a phone booth plastic shower. We just left. I took the key to the front desk and the guy who spoke a little English was gone and only a woman who spoke no english was there. After lots of trying to explain why we wanted to leave using google translate, she charged me full price for the room and we left to go somewhere else. Thanks to hotels.com for at least making the money right. But DO NOT STAY HERE! Your time will be wasted. This was the first time we have ever walked out of a hotel.

We have stayed here several times when we have been in the area. The hotel is a little run down in terms of decor. It could do with an overhaul but this is reflected in the price which is very low. Despite the condition the level of cleanliness is very high and the rooms are comfortable. By far the best feature is the excellent breakfast which is substantial and also the restaurant which is attached to the hotel. As the location is a little out of the way the advantage of having a really good restaurant/brasserie on site is a plus. I would recommend for anyone in the area for a short trip.

Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. Comfortable facilities. Fantastic breakfast area offering FREE breakfast with a display of all a hungry tourist would need. Parking is a bit cramped in the lower level if you are using a 9 passenger vehicle! Would recommend and stay at this location again.

First of all this hotel is great value if you care only to spend less. i would say if you are not picky and need just a bed and shower - this is great place for you. Negative: 1. Older lady at checkin does not speak English and was not welcoming at all 2. Room is totally outdated, furniture is old and creepy 3. Restroom had some strong small so i had to keep light and ventilation on all the time 4. Wifi is awful. Even if you see it and connect it does not work almost always Positives: 1. Location is very calm, almost no noises of any kind around. 2. Price - i paid funny thirty something Euro per night That's it. Again - recommended only if you need just to sleep overnight and care about budget.

Fab hotel a real find especially for value for money. Great decor comfortable room, spotlessly clean bathroom with numerous towels including large bath towels which are always a bonus. The 47 euro cost included a fine breakfast which afforded plenty of choice. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where we ate when we arrived. Again good quality and highly recommended. Will be staying here again.

Excellent service, location was quaint and quiet, but close to major centres. Restaurant was very good, staff were pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were clean, if a little on the small side, but this is Italy. The A/C was working overtime and sometimes could not keep up to the outside temps, but was still comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations, considering that it cost 48€ for two people per night. The hotel seemed to be fairly new, and is set in the countryside with not much around, which likely contributed to its exceptionally good price. The bedroom and bathroom were sparkling clean. The pillows were a bit on the flat side, so you might want to request an extra if you're a side sleeper. The complementary breakfast was impressive; there was quite a bounty offered (coffee/tea/3 kinds of juice, fresh fruit, an assortment of pastries/brioche, packaged toasts, Nutella/jam, a platter of salami and cheese, yogurts, and a huge basket of gluten-free goodies.) I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we visit the area.

We liked this place. They don't speak English, but are very nice. It's really out in the middle of no where, so if you don't mind driving it's perfect.

We had to extend our stay by a few days, and they gave us the same rate for the whole thing. Very nice hotel, off season for the area so it was pretty quiet. I'd definitely recommend it.
