Paula, the host, was excellent; so responsive and helpful. The house was well stocked and super comfortable for our family weekend. The location was very convenient to Mt. Snow - a short 5 minute drive or MOOver bus!

From the moment you enter the neighborhood, you are greeted by a lucid fairytale-like existence - perfectly manicured properties dripping down the winding, sloped street from the welcoming community center (that boasts an indoor Olympic Swimming Pool)- and down a few more houses until we arrived at our perfect accommodations.
The lodge immediately embraced us and made us feel like home. The three spacious and perfectly appointed bedrooms, and multi-terraced layout of the place afforded us a privacy usually compromised by vacation rentals. We were never woken up by our family in the morning. The rear-facing master with en-suite bathroom serenaded us at night with a lullaby of swaying trees and with mountain breezes, punctuated occasionally with sudden weather symphonies.
This place is a must-stay for anyone visiting West Dover, VT - with its proximities to GREAT bars, restaurants, breweries, farm-fresh markets, boating and kayaking at Harriman Reservoir and, of course- the ski lifts at Mount Snow.
We really enjoyed the warmth of the working fireplace, the outdoor back patio for “happy hour”- complete with barbecue grill. Our nephew was overwhelmed with excitement because of the game room equipped with a regulation Fooseball Table, Widescreen TV, and sectional couch that pulls out into a bed- perfect for the kid to feel like he was on his own.
We really cherish the memories of playing games in the living room, singing happy birthday in the dining room, cooking meals and eating and drinking the finest VT had to offer in the open kitchen.
We can’t wait for our next visit to the LemonDrop Lodge in the future and the opportunity to create new Vermont experiences. Thank you Paula!
