We chose to stay here because everything was too expensive to stay in Florence, it was a short train ride but at least a 15 minute walk and a taxi wasn’t an option, so with our big heavy backpacks it wasn’t a fun walk. One thing to mention our host was super friendly which made us forget about the walk! The room is very dated thought it was 1980s but very comfortable! Breakfast isn’t on sight but a walk across the road to a lovely bakery. Our host was really lovely just unfortunate the area is so dead! There is so much potential. We went to a Scottish themed pub only a few minutes away the staff there were very friendly especially the young boy he thought us a few words in Italian. All and all the room was very clean, staff were friendly, the people are fantastic but nothing to do there!

Dirty, TOO "friendly" service, BAD breakfast, etc. = inconvenient place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights of our holidays. First of all: the lack of cleaning. Our room had marks in the mirror made by a kids hand, there were hairs on the night table, the bed sheets were not shaked after each night we stayed there, the floor was dirty and the overall impression was not of a place ready to have us there. Then, the staff. We saw 3 different people, a young man, a woman and an old man. Alright, we can't complain about the young man and the woman, they only just said "good morning" to us. But the man, who doesn't speak very good english (but that's not the problem) was talking NON-STOP. It took him almost half an hour to register us, because he explained every detail of the train, the city, the pubs, etc. even when we were very much showing no interest butso ever.

Italy is very strict about having the exact number of guests correct on your booking, which I wasn't aware of when I made my booking. Mozes, one of the managers at Eurohome, charged me nearly twice as much as current market rate when I showed up at checkin with my second guest. Please be aware of that when booking hotels in Europe! The staff at the hotel are otherwise lively, entertaining people. My room, however, was far from it! The bed, which was supposed to be a queen size, was actually two twin beds side-by-side. They were extremely hard and uncomfortable (not to mention there being a huge gap in between). I did not sleep well during my stay. The space between the bed and the wall was less than the length of my sandal (as you can see in my photos). There were also tons of mosquitos in the room, not sure why or how they got in, but I killed quite a few during my 5 night stay, though not before suffering quite a few bites. The shower door did not close completely. There is a very loud vent in the shower that is pretty distracting as you're trying to relax after a long day (it can be unplugged, which I did do a few times). There is no do-not-disturb sign for the door, so staff would try to open the door when it came time to clean the rooms (10:30AM). The room itself is pretty dinghy and felt like hostel-style. There is a bizarre practice of having to leave your room key at the front desk and ring the doorbell when you get back to be let in.

It was far from the train station and there is no bus or taxi to get to the place at a later time. You need to drive to go there. Room is okay but there were mosquitoes inside. You have to buy your water.

Booked 2 nights but could only stand it for one. Room was partly under street level (room 104). There were Windows but had shutters which could not be opened so there was no natural light. More like a prison cell. Eaten alive by mosquitos as well. Strange entry system. Had to ring for the owners to let you in every time you went out. Felt like an inconvenience if you wanted to pop out for a few minutes. Wifi was good though. Tiny shower and towels completely inadequate. Would not recommend. Also a good half an hour drive from Florence so not particularly convenient.

Loved our stay here, a short train trip to Florence, or about one hour to Pisa. About one klm to walk to train station, or free parking at the station. Couldn't fault this hotel or the family who run it.would have to give it 9.5 out of ten

The guys at the front desk are absolutely out of the ordinary. The apartment is a high-class, modern piece of beauty. I'll just mention: LED lighting all around, two 50" TV's (one of the 3D), playstation, high quality linen, very modern bathroom (with ambience music if you want), excellent amenities all in pristine shape. If you're looking for a high end quality stay, this is a great option. Neighborhood is quiet and safe.

It was extremely hot when we were in Florence, so it was great being so close to the train and able to visit the city late afternoon. Very comfortable room and lovely host who readily gave us useful information.

Perfect location if you wish to visit Florence and not have to pay Florence prices. A quick 15 minute train to the heart of Florence. Decent for quick on/off the highway as well.

This hotel is in SIGNA...It's 20 mins train ride from florence ( every half an hr after 9 am and every hour after 11 am)plus 1.2 km walk from station... If you got heavy luggage , u might need a taxi... Breakfast was crap... A plain croissant n coffee powder with milk powder plus kettle placed in room at ur arrival time for next day's breakfast.....and if you want more, u are advised by the reception to go out n buy extra breakfast...owner was helpful regarding the bus times to train station( hourly not on time)... So , if you have enough time ,you could choose this place... If you don't want to lose precious 2 hrs in florence in commute , you could choose a hotel nearby to train station or in florence .... There are not many restaurants open after 9 pm.., we had dinner at florence n pisa... But, was not a very bad place also as we reached in afternoon n visited pisa for half day...
