A family run, independent establishment with a personal touch - note in the room said who had prepared it and invited me to comment when checking out, which I did. 24/7 service, something you don't always get in family hotels. Basin plugs seem to be a thing of the past - the basin in my room had a slit instead of a hole, meaning I couldn't use the plug I had with me.

Pluses: Across the street from the train station, near lots of restaurants, brasseries and entertainment.
Minuses: Elevator broke down during our stay, hotel did not stock the room with washcloths — only towels — nor were any available.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view from the window.
