It was not clear on booking that the hotel was spread over several different chalet buildings within the village and so if you were not in the main building you basically didn’t have practical access to any of the amenities like the spa and swimming pool. Furthermore the ratio of amenities to guests is totally overloaded and so the spa was always very congested without proper changing facilities. Like most Pierre residence properties, very misleading once again.

The property is located in the Méribel village which has a supermarket, bakery and a bar nearby. Very charming place and friendly atmosphere.

Delayed check in due to an issue with our apartment. Gave us croissants for breakfast on day 1 to apologise. No mid-week clean received. Kitchen well kitted for hob cooking. Only had a grill microwave, no oven. Ski lockers in hotel basement. No heading or forced air, so had to take boots to the apartment. Some of our group went to the pool and said the area was not very clean. Overall ok, but in need of investment to update the facilities.

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment booked was described as a classic 2-bedroom apartment that comes with 1 x queen bed, 2 x single beds and 1 x sofa bed. The single beds provided are not proper beds and one of them is located in the hallway not in the 2nd bedroom

Liked: Excellent very pretty location with ski lift directly outside that we could ski in/out in early April down an easy blue run and linked well onto resort cable car system. Brilliant easy green run at the top of the lift for families. Lovely pool and saunas. Helpful staff. Nice accommodation. Disliked: Having to pay extra for the safe, parking and loo roll! Didn't notice we'd had a mid week clean. Having to put rubbish across the car park Overall: we will be booking up for next year as resort facilities, ski area and accommodation overall very good.

Nice place golf lift is almost ski in /ski out. Short taxi to meribel center. If you're looking to be "in town " this isn't it. Rooms are a little small for American standard. No maid service if you need that .

I have been a regular in Meribel and found the hotel well placed to serve the family market. The complex is ideally suited for ski in/out and has reasonable facilities - good value for money and quiet spacious compared to typical chalet accommodation. Reception staff were very efficient and keen to help.

On arrival at reception we waited 5 minutes to get our keys whilst watching staff count money. All 6 of us we're very disappointed upon entering our apartment... Bedroom one had no wardrobe and a single bed, with another single bed that pulls out from underneath, once this was done you couldn't get anything else in that room (more a box room). The lounge had a similar bed system as above (which was expected), a stool had one leg missing, there was a broken table and the general feel was quite shabby. Bedroom two had a double bed (as requested), however it was a double bed frame with 2 single mattresses... not the most comfortable, our en-suite shower/cupboard was blocked. There was not enough towels or bedding supplied for 6 people, 2 towels we're actually hanging up to dry in the hallway, suggesting these had already been used. Not very professional or expected from a 4 Star superior complex as advertised. All said and done we did make the best of it had a very good holiday!
