newly renovated and excellent lake view, the hotel is on the mid mountain, take about 25 minutes to walk down and it costs about 35 Euro from downtown Como. Don't expect taxi or uber services from the local area,Cernobbio.The hotel can call the taxi if you leave from the hotel. The breakfast is pretty good and the dinner served at the hotel restaurant is ok but not too many choices . Other than the transportation, the hotel is very clean, the room is either newly renovated or being renovated. the view is unbeatable .

We came to Lake Como for a wedding and I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Asnigo! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—they truly went Above & Beyond to make my stay special. The hotel’s restaurant served amazing food each morning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to each day. The pool is not heated but refreshing on a hot day. We even saw fireworks on the lake at night) The view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular—Lake Como at its finest. Even the elevator has a breathtaking view of lake como! I also loved that it was within walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. Yes, the walk back up the hill is a bit of a workout, but I actually enjoyed it as great exercise after exploring the area. Overall, this hotel has everything—warm and attentive staff, wonderful food, breathtaking views, and a perfect location. I prefer boutique hotels instead of large chains and I can’t wait to return to this charming and quaint hotel!

I loved that I chose this hotel. It was peaceful, quiet, welcoming, relaxing, and the views were incredible! They have dining options, free breakfast, pool, short walk into the town, and hour walk to Switzerland. Worth every penny!

The location is excellent. The breakfast is good with a lovely view of Lago do Como to keep you company. The staff were generally super friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms were VERY small, especially for 2 people. Not the biggest (fit the room) or greatest beds and pillows. The bathrooms are also VERY small. The air conditioning didn’t work on both nights. The WiFi also didn’t work and when it did, it was very weak.. If you’re not an early riser, be ready for the noises coming from other guests and the housekeeping team. Plus, a little tightening up of the maintenance and repair and this could be far more a delightful experience.

We arrived at 10:30 am and our room was not ready for check in . The concierge could have offered us a complimentary coffee and pastry but decided to include it in our final bill. The hotel was also not in an ideal location and was in more an incline position and 20 minute walk from the center. Walking to the center was also dangerous due to the cars coming from corners and there was little space In the sidewalks and in some roads, no sidewalks at all. The room and cleanliness was great but staff-friendliness and location of the hotel wasn’t so good.

Beautiful hotel with views. Modern and clean. Super small rooms, no place for oversized luggage. Dining service was a little off. Slow and inefficient- one waiter for entire dining room until another arrived. Waiter kept apologizing for service. Also had to contend with loud wedding party filling the entire dining room and lounge area until 7pm.

The only thing i will never forget is the amazing view of lake como, village and mountain the hotel has , the receptionist was kind offered us tips to enjoy the place , and gave us a free upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary, the thing that i didnt like is no body helped us with the luggages , no security / though the area looks safe , reception is not available 24 hours , many times we went nobody was at the desk and phone service was lacking ,u have to pay to park in the hotel garage

Beautiful location and view of Cernobbio. Staff was very helpful and friendly compared to most hotel reception in Italy. Seated at the top of a hill so it was hard to walk to and from. I walked down to town one day but it didn’t feel very safe. Taxis you need to order 30 min advance to when you need them. Wall air conditioning units didn’t work too well, was somewhat warm. Other then that a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Asnigo. Beautiful view with our room, firm comfy bed, quiet, and very kind service. As others mentioned, the cab situation in Cernobbio is abysmal and the walk back up to the hotel can be a steep challenge but was only a real issue when we were on a time crunch. And even then we made it work. (If you have a car this would be a non-issue I’d imagine.) The staff kindly assisted with calling us cabs and the walk down the hill, though steep is quite nice. All in all, still very much worth it for the price and unbeatable views of the lake!
