We were really blown away. We were just expecting a basic hotel for the price we paid. Our room was silent- we heard NO outside noises (and we were very close to the lobby). The rooms must be soundproof as I never heard another guests door shut or anything for that matter outside our room (and there were many other guests staying there). What was really nice was that there were no children staying at the hotel. Besides my teenage daughter and I, it was all older couples staying. That was so refreshing as we came up in part to go to the Cambria Market Place where there are tons of loud kids. It was nice to come back to the peace and quiet of our room after. *The shuttle for the marketplace picks up nextdoor which is super convenient. The room came stocked with water bottles, fresh baked (delicious) cookies, and thoughtful details such as creamer for the room’s coffee and tea in the fridge and sleeping masks in the drawer in between our beds. The “fireplace” emitted a lot of heat, unlike other hotels we have stayed at on Moonstone beach. The made to order breakfast was also a nice bonus. They also had coffee and hot water and lemon ice water at different times of the day in the lobby along with beach towels. The employees were very courteous and nice as well. For the money, this is a find!!!

Room was clean, beautiful partial ocean view, lovely setting, and a very yummy breakfast delivered to our room. The only downside was the incredibly hot and stuffy room with cars parked directly below us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Property and people were great. The room they put me in was terrible. I was next to the parking and the reception area. It was very noisy. Every time the room next to me used the shower or toilet, it sounded like a train going through my room. I think they stuck me there because I was a single guy?

I have previously given a survey response regarding the discussting chairs in our room. The were extremely filthy. arms of chair were almost black of dirt and grime. I informed desk receptionist and cleaning lady on 2nd flr.

Jack was fantastic! We had booked a restaurant and ask Jack what he thought and he advised another that was awesome. The second night as well. The beds were super comfortable. We were worried about not having ac, but that was not a problem at all. Loved our stay!

I only stayed one night but the staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. The Blue Dalphin Inn is incredibly close to the ocean, so I was able to enjoy walking and watching the sun set.

We loved the ambience of the hotel and the fact that all rooms have some ocean view. The staff are very attentive. We enjoyed the breakfast options that are served in bag so they an be taken to the beach or on a picnic.
