About this house rental
Beautiful quiet ranch retreat. Large great room with wood beam ceiling, mountain lodge atmosphere with wood burning fireplace. Secluded on 5 acres with beautiful view of valley and horse area. Full RV hookups. Hot tub, fireplace also in bedroom, upstairs casita with extra cots, sleeping pads, bunk beds, 2 port-a-cribs, toys and games, and deck with view. Incredible hiking, scenic canyons, minutes from beautiful Snow Canyon. 15 min from St. George restaurants, shopping, golf courses, Tuacahn outdoor Amphitheatre. Access to Las Vegas, Zion, Bryce, Lake Powell, or Brian's head skiing. Available for St. George Marathon, Triathlon, Senior Games, Iron Man, Dixie Roundup rodeo, all other events. Great access to marathon course. Sleeps 12 in beds + 2 port a cribs. We have extra sleeping pads/cots. Can accommodate your horses if prior arrangements are made. Casita above garage may also be rented separately. (sleeps 6 + extra cots/ pads) We do have a 2 night minimum (some exceptions)

Stayed with two families and lots of kids in February to go hiking in Snow Canyon. The location is quiet and beautiful. Kids loved playing with horses and chickens. There is a family of deer that visits every night that we were able to feed. The hosts were responsive by text and very helpful.The house is lived-in. I think the owners live there when it's not rented out. This didn't bother me but it's worth mentioning (i.e. there are groceries in the fridge and clothes in the closets and stuff).

We stayed here over marathon weekend. Had 5 runners and lots of support people! Was great to be closer to the start line. Very peaceful out of the way stay. Great kitchen to cook and host 14 of us. Hot tub was a bonus after the race!

No question the views are amazing and property is private and secluded while still in a community setting. Our family of 10 were able to spend quality time in the living/kitchen area with no problems at all. Grandkids enjoyed the play area and all the critters. Coco and Krispy (goats) were so much fun to feed and watch. As a previous review mentioned, refrigerator space was somewhat limited, especially for a group of ten. We experienced a few unexpected issues that were immediately taken care of by Joel and Terri. They were great hosts and made sure we knew we could contact them for any reason at any time.
Our usual family fishing trip to Mammoth had to be cancelled due to fires so fortunately we were able to come here. While the local fishing can’t compare, we were able to enjoy many of the beautiful sights the area has to offer. We had fun and hated to leave.

The house is very nice and has a large open living room which is great for get togethers. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a place that felt liked they lived there full time. In some ways it was weird and other ways it was beneficial.
