Will not be returning

Very dusty, noisy room due to being on a main road. Couldn’t sleep due to traffic. Paint peeling off the walls, stained linen on arrival, and definitely not worth the price listed.

We had a great stay,and was made very welcme by the owner.

The property was excellent with a high standard of cleanliness,nice decor,the rooms were nice,and the beds were warm and comfortable. There was also a backcourt seating area which would be good in the summer. The large communal kitchen was good with cooker,fridge etc and everything for convenience to have breakfast or meals.The property was about 17minutes walk to the town,also there was a good bus service going down by the street. There was an easy code for to get into property and a different code for to get into bedroom.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Good short stay, comfy bed and close to the centre. Allowed us early check in.

Only 1 towel provided for 2 people and the walls appear to be damp, front rooms are close to the main road so it is fairly loud at night

Fabulous place to stay in Wigan

Great location, this property saved us as our other air b&b cancelled with 2 hours notice. The property manager was very kind, ensured our rooms were cleaned and ready for the early check in that we requested.

Clean and very comfortable. The bed was very nice and cost.

I did ask for two singles which was confirmed but on arrival had a double. No big deal though. Bed was comfy.

From the first contact on messaging till I got to the property. I was even allowed early check in which was really nice after coming from a 12hour shift. The facility is perfect, very clean and they have everything you will need. The kitchen is to die for, so beautiful and spacious. I wish I had stayed longer just to spend time on the kitchen. A lovely place and it will become my regular place when in Wigan. Thank you so much to the owner 🙏🏽🤣

great holiday house in wigan to stay in

host was great all info had been sent before we arrived and he called to make sure we were ok getting in, property was clean and spacious we had booked all the rooms and super happy, nice social kitchen area nice garden area, all bedding and towels clean, rooms clean nice decoration of the house All in all i would def book this again and would use this holiday house for tournements again super host and super property, thanks so much for our stay

the stock to top up the house was in and around lots of cupboards and the small double beds are super small, cameras in communal areas, understand why, no issue to us, and right by the main road, which is busy all day and night, so you can hear cars if your window is open, also outside is a pelican crossing with a very lioght light, rooms facing this could do with curtains, one wall was damp and they have fixed it needs to be repainted but told by my hubby it has to dry ,,,, what do i know

Facing onto a main road must make the rooms at the front rather noisy. My room was at the back and pleasantly quiet. Also proximity of Lidl's. 11.00

Great little place in Wigan

The ensuite room was very nicely decorated. It's easy to get in. Pre-arrival information is excellent. The kitchen facilities are great.The hosts respond to messages very well.

The heating was up far too high in both the room and the building in general. The bed in room 5 is a small double, so we couldn't escape each other to cool down. It was a booking for two and only one set of towels were left.

Not a bad stay but could of been better with a few minor tweaks

the security on the property was good, house was clean and tidy, kitchen was lovely and big, nicely decorated parking was good as well overall we had a good stay for the 2 days we were there. the host was very helpful when we had a few minor problems with the room 5 stars room was nicely decorated and clean

we feel the 2 single beds was very small and the mattresses for us was not very comfortable but the host did give us extra duvets to put on top of the mattress which helped. We found the blind let in a lot of light could do with blackout blinds instead we also found the shower very temperamental getting the temp right kept going cold then hot which was a pain we also found it was a bit noisy as we had a room on the main road also it is right outside the zebra crossing and had the yellow beacon flashing in our room all night needs the blackout blinds for sure.

Great value for money

Clean and comfortable. Was surprisingly peaceful and I got a good night sleep. The kitchen was handy and clean. I felt safe with the lock on the room. Staff very helpful and quick to respond. Walking distance to town and Lidl just round the corner.

There was mould on the wall by the bed. Desk wasn't really usable as a desk, recommend mounting the tv on the wall to free up space.

Avoid

I paid for the property and within minutes of the booking and contacting the owner, I realised that due to my disability the room was unsuitable as the toilet was down stair and through the kitchen. My request to cancel the booking and be reimbursed was refused. I travelled to the property. I rang the Ring doorbell and phoned the owner. I received no response. I left the property very disappointed.

The owner’s behaviour was bizarre and I would not recommend his place to stay on the grounds of his lack of compassion and empathy.

Clean, but very basic & could be much better

The apartment room was clean, and was nice & bright.

Overly complicated Key locks to both the Bedroom door & Private bathroom, which was frustrating when using the facilities during the night. There was no in-room complimentary Water, or Tea & Coffee The downstairs, communal Kitchen was not that clean, with left over food in saucepans on the hob, surfaces not wiped & overall, had a fusty smell, which drifted up into the bedroom areas. The location was fairly central, but the area did not feel that welcoming, particularly when walking back at night. The room overlooked the main road, & therefore there was quite a lot of noise levels from the street. In my opinion the price was not reflective of the facilities, accommodation or location, & i felt the room should have been priced around £15.00 cheaper than advertised.
