This hotel is basically a travelodge so book knowing that. There's no aircon (despite Expedia saying there is). There are notes in the loft saying it's installed but not functioning yet. There are oscillating fans in rooms. Basically, this is a decent hotel with great staff. It's clean and the rooms are big by European standards. As mentioned above, it's like staying in a travelodge (a well cared for one).

Very convenient for rail stations. Room was fine, but aircon not working. Kettle but only one teabag. Opening window for air brought loud traffic noise. Our onward train cancelled so we lost one prepaid night in Lyon and had to book a further night here - that room was better, but hugely expensive.

The staff here were excellent and very friendly. Currently in the process of putting air-con in the hotel but a large fan provided in the room. A lot of dust in the room, but I guess you get what you pay for, overall for the money it was definitely worth it.

Everything was great except the room was very hot. There is no air conditioning in the room. There is building site noise going on throughout the night and therefore it was a compromise of have my sleep disturbed by noise (with a small improvement in cooling down of the room) verses a really hot environment and a very restless night.

It was almost like the room wasn't finished being serviced. The soap dispensers were almost depleted and there was no hand towel as well as a few hairs scattered throughout the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a fine hotel right next to the train station and a short walk to the centre of Lille.

Excellent location for railway stations and shopping. Only a short walk to the old town. Modern hotel, clean and with good facilities including a bath and a fan. Could be improved by putting a charging socket on both sides of the bed, changing lumpy flat pillows and supplying a second luggage rack. Staff at reception rather mixed in their attitude.

Good 3 star hotel in excellent location for both train stations and city centre. Most of the reception staff were very friendly. We didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food. Had a nice room at the front of the hotel but we hadn’t realised there wasn’t any air-conditioning so it was rather hot and we couldn’t have the window open because of the traffic noise. Reception kindly said if we stayed again, they would try to accommodate us at the back of the property. Overall, a good stay and we would return.

This is a good, convenient place to stop off if you have a train to catch from either of the two Lille stations (both just a few steps away); it's also just a short walk into the centre. My room was pretty comfortable, the only problem being the bed mattress which was one of those two-part affairs with a tendency to split apart in the middle. For this reason I didn't sleep brilliantly. No air-conditioning so the rooms might be a bit hot in summer weather - but there was a rotary fan in the cupboard. Very nice breakfast, though, with some interesting choices on offer. The quince jelly, for instance was a nice surprise.

On the plus side: hotel well situated, not as expensive as some others, cleaning staff friendly and do good job. Noise-wise good, not disturbed during the night. On the negative side: staff at reception bored, indifferent, almost rude, especially the young woman on duty during the day. It looked like a titanic effort for her even to say Bonjour or look up. She should definitely find another job she's happier in. Evening staff friendlier. Door to bathroom (slide door) was really hard to open/close as kept getting stuck on carpet. Meant couldn't fully close door when using bathroom unless somebody there to help move it afterwards from other side. Bath one stands in to have shower was incredibly slippery. Unfortunately there was no shower mat, handle in the wall or even texturing of the bath surface so had to be really careful not to slip over.

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was well maintained and spacious and the hotel is in a perfect location with the shopping centre next door and the two train stations within a 10 minute walk.
