    Loved our time at Mantra on Russell. The staff were friendly (allowing us a slightly earlier check-in), amenities fantastic (enjoyed our time in spa, sauna & gym) with an excellent Buffett breakfast. The room and bathroom was clean, without the overpowering smell of cleaning products. The highlight however was its vicinity. 1 minute to China town, 2 mins to Melbourne central and the free tram just around the corner. You may need to be mindful of street noise on busy nights if you are a light sleeper. Ultimately, we happily look forward to our next visit.

    My parents and I recently stayed here for six days, and we had a generally pleasant experience. The staff—from the front desk to the restaurant—were incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We loved how spacious our room was; in addition to the main bedroom, it included a fully equipped kitchen and a living area. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shopping centers, and grocery stores nearby, and the gym facilities were decent as well. However, we did notice a couple of areas that could be improved. Housekeeping wasn't a daily service during our stay; our room was only cleaned two or three times over the six days. Additionally, the breakfast options became quite repetitive, and we would have loved to see a bit more variety from day to day.

    Had a wonderful stay at Mantra on Russell. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was fantastic. The one-bedroom apartment was far more spacious than I expected, with a very comfortable bed and a large, well-appointed bathroom. The laundry facilities were a great bonus that I wasn’t expecting and added extra convenience to my stay. Another highlight was the superb piano bar across the road, which made for a perfect evening out. Thank you for making my quick getaway such a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

    furniture is dated although big, bathroom has a mildew smell bed is comfy and have no complaints there
