    My elderly mother and I enjoyed our brief stay at the Adina. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment equipped with laundry and kitchen facilities. That allowed us to cook our own meals when we did not feel like eating out. Location was great too, just a street away from Elizabeth Street - the main thoroughfare where the main shopping malls were. It was also where we could either walk or take a tram to Queen Victoria Market, Flinders Station and the other sights.

    Great stay overall! The location is safe and extremely convenient for dining and shopping. However, keep in mind that housekeeping is upon request only, and parking incurs a daily fee and requires grabbing an exit voucher from the front desk each time.

    We booked a two bedroom apartment with four single beds. (Two adult males and two teenage boys.) This was confirmed on our original booking. We rang Adina the day before arrival and again confirmed four single beds. On arriving at the Adina the greeting by the desk person was bordering on rude and indifferent. He informed us about a $50 security deposit, the apartment had been fully paid prior arrival, and when I asked what it was about he appeared put out that I asked. On entering the apartment we found the it had been configured into two double beds. I returned to the front desk and informed him of what we had booked and what the apartment was. Again he appeared annoyed. He offered a very insincere apology and stated that housekeeping would rectify the issue, which was done fairly quickly. When we departed the Adina again the front desk were not the friendliest I’ve come across. On checking out there was no greeting, no how was your stay, no how was the accommodation it appeared as if they truely did not care. I was intending to return to the Adina in September but I will cancel that booking.
