    The location of the hotel was great - it was not only located near the subway, but also supermarkets, pharmacies and cafes/restaurants. As a female traveller, I felt really safe in this neighbourhood. Service at the hotel was also good. The front desk was 24/7 and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby also came with complimentary pastries and drinks The hotel asks for guests to leave their key cards at the front desk before heading out, but my biggest gripe was the lack of verification when collecting them again. All you had to do was state your room number, and the staff would hand the key over without any further checks — which, in my opinion, is quite a concerning security breach. Rooms wise, the actual room I was assigned to didn’t seem as vibey/modern looking as the ones showed in the photos but it was generally clean although they missed out on replacing/ cleaning out a cup with a lipstick mark that was left by the previous guests.

    If you are looking for a hotel which (1) there's a nearby metro available (less than 5 mins walk) (2) there's plenty of restaurants & convenience shops nearby the hotel (3) less crowded, not really a central area but still offering plenty of nice places around then this is the hotel you should pick !

    I chose the hotel due to the cost/benefit and the great location. The room was small (as most rooms in Paris), with carpet. The shower was horrible, hard to take a good shower. I booked the Twin room, and the fact that both the mattress and the bed were loose , made it hard to have a good night's sleep - I travelled with my daughter and as she moved during the night, the bed moved all the time. I asked to change the room to get a queen bed, but the reception informed that the hotel was overbooked (I would even be willing to pay the difference),even though the website showed there were rooms available.If you book this hotel, do not go for the Twin room.
