no-see-ums (biting bugs) This hotel currently has an issue with no-see-ums (biting bugs), so I wouldn’t recommend it for families until that’s resolved. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the receptionists offered me 75% off my second night because of the inconvenience. However, my children and I were bitten multiple times in both rooms we stayed in, and I later learned it was a known issue the hotel had been trying to fix. Because they were already aware of the problem, I feel we should have received a full refund. The property is quiet and the pool was nice, but the bug situation needs to be fully addressed before I’d consider staying again.

I wasn't given the hotel room that I wanted to rent; when I checked in the room, I went immediately back downstairs to the front desk and explained and showed him photos of the room that I had ordered and told me it was the wrong room and they would have to cancel my reservation, and I wouldn't receive that money 2-3 business days, and then pay more for the room I wanted and was supposed to get; already was over it with the day, so I just left it alone for that moment
