    A beautiful classic American hotel. Clean and must have been recently refurbished. The park shuttle stops right in front of the hotel.

    Brilliant motel. Very upmarket and impeccably presented. Only issue for us was that we had booked a room six months prior with two beds and had requested a sofa bed or rollaway for a child. We received a confirmation for the booking which suggested our request was possible. On arrival we were told that the room did not have a sofa and a rollaway was not available. As the motel was fully booked we could not be changed to a larger room and so my grand daughter had to sleep on blankets on the tile floor. Property not really that concerned about this. They need to pay better attention to bookings and respond appropriately to guest requests. If not able to help, then offer some compensation or more sympathy. A “ not much we can do” attitude was disappointing.

    I went on a 1-night, 2-day trip to the Grand Canyon. While looking for a hotel close to the Grand Canyon, there weren’t many options, but this place had good reviews and seemed nice, so I decided to book it. Just like in the photos, the hotel had a cozy, lodge-style atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and having access to the swimming pool made the stay even more enjoyable. Although the facilities were a bit old, there was no major inconvenience in using them. The only downside was that the bathtub did not drain well.
