I got in late, around 3:30 am and they let me know that I couldn’t check in or stay there because my room was unavailable. The receptionist called and said she found me a room but I would ONLY have to pay the pet fee- RIDICULOUS SINCE I ALREADY PAID THEM ONE- but I said fine when I went to the other hotel they let me know I had to cover the room AND the pet fee. So not only did the Hampton Inn take my money and deny me a room comp because of THEIR ISSUES, I had to pay both of these charges A SECOND TIME. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS CHAIN OR SISTER CHAINS AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY.

It was clean. Good pet area. Pet friendly. Disappointing that pool was not open. Tub drain could not be closed so my child who is a bilateral below knee amputee would not have been able to take a bath (since cannot stand safely to shower) if I did not have duct tape to put over the drain hole.

There was too much noise, it sounded like some one was washing the building with a power washer. We were late returning due to an accident and finding a parking space near our entrance was non-existent. Large trucks were taking several spaces at once.

Overall a great stay. I was surprised that there was no room service offered. We typically don’t require it, but for this stay we had an issue with the shower curtain and water getting on the bathroom floor and had to use 2 towels to clean it up. We had to go to the front desk for new towels

Hampton Inn was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. My only issue was that we were traveling with a dog and after making the reservation through Expedia, I called them personally to let them know I was bringing the dog. No one told me that they charge $50 for pets. That is exorbitant! But, I had no choice because it was already 10:00 at night when we checked in. I wish Expedia had a way to include the pet reservation at the time of booking. That way we could be sure of the cost and details. We were gone for 3 weeks on this trip, and several other hotels charged different rates for dogs than what was on the Expedia site. That was very frustrating and I even called every motel after I booked with Expedia to make sure my dog would be welcome.

Disgusting hotel and level of cleanliness. We like to stay at Hampton Inns as they are typically budget friendly, but clean and well cared for. The hotel was so smoke-filled and masked with chemicals that my kids were up all night coughing. All the other hotels on the area were unfortunately booked and this was the last room available. At least we can look forward to a shower, right? We only were provided with two towels despite booking two beds and the conditioner was gone. There was a used plunger sitting on the carpet across from our room door. There was hair in the breakfast potatoes, so we decided to forego breakfast as well. I have never been so disappointed in a Hampton Inn.

My sister & I stay at The Hampton Inn Carrollton each time we visit our mother in KY because the beds/bedding are so nice as well as the bathroom. This was no exception. There were a few things this time that caused me to give a bit lower rating than I normally do. Not huge items but thought I'd mention. When checking in we'd booked a 2 queen bed non smoking room but was given a king. We were told that Hotels.com had us reserved for a king yet my email & printout both reflected 2 queens. Fortunately one was available & we were switched right away. The room had just been cleaned but there was a very odd odor in the room we assumed was from the cleaning agent. We had to ask for toilet tissue as the roll was almost empty and a spare could not be found anywhere in the room. Lastly, there was a pillowcase missing on one of the pillows. We always like the complimentary breakfast & coffee & the staff are very friendly & willing to help with any of our needs. We recommend this hotel & will continue to stay here on our future visits to Carrollton.

The employees here are great. Very friendly. We were sad to find out after check-in that the pool was broken. I am a former Hilton room inspector and found the room and hallways to be very clean. The breakfast spread was amazing. Something for everyone most days.
