Rodeway Inn State College - near University

The walk from campus isn't too far. Did, however, find a few hairs in the sheets. Supposed renovation underway.

Bathroom had hair in the tub and what looked black mold above the shower.

It provided a clean, safe and useable place to rest our heads after a long 9 hour drive. The room was clean and in order.

A convinient location. The room is kinda old, the AC is too noisy.

It was what I expected in a low budget motel.

A great place to stay while in the state college area. Close to many places to eat and shop. A reasonable No Frills Hotel.

The property was well kept. Free parking. The beds and room were clean and comfortable. Many pillows provided. The bathroom was clean but there was no exhaust fan. There was mildew in several areas but the cord from the hairdryer was terribly covered with it. We only stayed one night so this Inn was fine for us. Dated interior but mostly clean and comfortable. The staff upon check-in really could have been pleasant or welcoming. There was no greeting, no smile, no presence of any personality. It was extremely off-putting to me. It felt quite odd actually. But the room was fine for an evening and the location was great!

Close to Penn State University and it was clean

The room was extremely outdated. The TV was in the far right corner instead of being in front of the bed. The sheets looked filthy. The bathroom was nasty. I ended sleeping in my clothes on top of the bed spread .

Rooms were large and clean. Great location close to Penn State and restaurants and shopping.

A very basic property more like a motel than a hotel.

This property and its staff exceeded my expectations upon arrival and my departure. Every aspect of my stay was truly a delightful experience. The staff was very gracious. The room far exceeded its competition with excellent quality room size, quality furniture . The bed was a clean supportive queen size bed Supporting my 6,3 300l pound body. Along with its nice clean smelling sheets and pillows and well decorated decor. The bathroom was very clean and had great water pressure with well maintained plumbing. I’d highly recommend this place for a great room and safe good nights sleep away from your home on the road. Thanks, Alex

Booking got messed up because of same day check in- Manager was supposed to refund the booking through Expedia after I booked in person, but he never did, so I ended up paying twice- they are liars, don’t trust them.. motel was dirty and nasty, like a hooker hotel with no hookers

Very satisfied with our accommodations!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room had recently had a facelift and was very neat, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Having a microwave and refrigerator is always nice. I guess if I had to pick one thing that wasn't the best, was the bathroom was very small. But it was clean and efficient. I would def recommend and use this place again, especially for the price.

It was convenient and a good price, and the staff was quite nice. But it was rather run down and had only exterior hallways.

It was a good place to sleep

Friendly staff, had everything we needed. We pretty much only used the room to sleep but it was great for our purpose.

This is a great place for a cheap but clean stay. Bare basics as one would expect for the price. Nothing to earn a 5 star at this location but also nothing to complain about.

Parking is tight

The bathroom was nasty. The room smelled of carpet cleaner that was so overwhelming my daughter started coughing. People above us loud. And the price I paid it was not worth it. Would not recommend or stay there again.

I just needed a place to spend the night for one night so was looking for something inexpensive. This hotel surpassed my expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave was more than I expected. Would definitely stay here again.
