Pros: 10-min Uber away from LAX, clean rooms with a fridge, microwave, TV, and a shallow bath. Cleaners are doing a great job of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. 2-minute walk to fast food outlets and 15-20 minute walk to nearby town centre with good selection of cafes, coffee shops, mini markets and churches, library and a town hall - very quaint
Cons: check in at 3pm and not much flexibility for early arrivals (charging USD 10 per hour for early check in). It is an older hotel, so a bit jaded around the edges (but still clean!). Located in an industrial area – do not come here if you want shopping and restaurants right outside your door. It's a motel and good for a one-night stopover. Better to get Uber back late at night, as the walk back from town takes you under two short tunnels under railway/road bridges – which I wouldn't recommend doing on your own at night.
