8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Stayed in the jr suite, which is large and roomy. No special features. Frig is in a cabinet which was weird. For a one night stay this is a decent spot.

Overall positive experience.
Downsides: no elevator (but there was a porter available to carry our bags up the stairs). Also our room (202) reeked of smoke despite it being Non-smoking room.
Positives: great fireplace in the lobby sitting area, beautiful view of Lake Hood to watch the seaplanes take off and land, spacious room, exceptional water pressure in the shower, delicious food at the on site restaurant. Also, a convenient free airport shuttle was another positive.
10 / 10Outstanding·Jul 2026
understaffed for the arrival and departure of a large number of overseas aircrews
all at one time, mixed with a surge of other customers. Recommemd a dedicaterd registration clerk and bellman for these special customers while other customers are in a separate first come first serve line. Lobby became very chaotic for a period in the early evening and morning
