    Had a most pleasant stay here. We arrived early and were planning to simply ask to store our luggage and explore around, but the staff were kind enough to check if they can accommodate an early check-in. We got lucky that a room was available for us. It's quiet, and amenities were complete for a no fuss stay. Free coffee and water downstairs, and they also lend out beach towels and umbrellas if you plan to go to the beach.

    Upon arrival, there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, apparently from the pipes or drainage system. We reported it to reception, and instead of fixing the issue, they simply gave us an air freshener to mask the odor. Unfortunately, the smell remained throughout our entire 6-day stay. The air conditioning was also not functioning properly. The cleanliness was also below expectations. The room was dusty, housekeeping was inadequate, and the bed sheets were not changed at all during our 6-day stay. Overall, the service and maintenance were very disappointing. This was definitely our first and last stay at this hotel.

    The rooms are small, they have done things to maximize storage. The rooms on the street side are larger and have a better configuration, but the street is noisy. Staff were hit and miss, the day staff were very good, the night crew were pretty useless. Breakfast wasn't good. The worst part was the bed was horrible, well past its useful life.
