    A little bit more than the cheap hotels but worth it. An hour from Calais was perfect for us.

    It’s quite a lovely hotel it would be perfect for everybody except the seniors because the bathtub is to high to climb in and out.

    Reception is a veneer the disappointment that lies behind. First room 201, no lift working, narrow steep stairs to room, arrive 2nd floor in darkness. Room 201 scruffy, frayed towels, tea or coffee making materials dirty carpet, dingy room. Complained moved to room 401, brighter and the lift to this part of hotel working, accepted this room, however toilet separate to bathroom was approximately 1meter x 900, a larger person would not be able to use the toilet, I, m 5ft 10'' and my knees were against the wall. Staff tried their best, breakfast fine, 2nd day coffee machine not working, no one around to fix it. Summarising the owner needs to spend money on the hotel, I would not recommend it to anyone, unless work done. What I have stated has been reported before, nothing has been done read previous reviews.

    While the staff and location seems pleasant, the room I was in was a bit of a let down, disabled room, good size, but needed a good clean update, and room window would not close por lock, and being next to an open area that seemed to be storing tables and chairs, and all that on ground floor didn't offer me the safety comfort or privacy that is expected. Other parts of hotel was pleasant, and spa service offers but not used. Breakfast for the price was poor. Overall may be a fair hotel in another room for the price, but save money have breakfast out will be better and cheaper from one of the many cafés around 5 minutes walk in most directions. I can't say I'll stay again but not the worst I've stayed at ok for a single night passing through
