    Location is in central Santa Monica and reasonable price although didn't like added resort fee for what was minimal extra. Staff helpful and comfortable room. A small mini fridge might have been a extra feature to add

    Stayed at Hotel Carmel for 3 nights and it was super near to the Pier and Beach. Very convenient. There is a target and trader Joe’s nearby and it’s like a 5min walk, nearby cafes for food and even souvenir shops for last minute shopping. However the wifi is a little slow maybe cause it’s quite an old building but overall I still had a good stay. It’s very comfortable and quiet at night. Would stay here again.
