    This is a very well-located hotel, especially if you want to be close to the city center while still having a quiet and relaxing environment. The botanical garden is just across the street, together with several landmarks, and there are plenty of options for parking nearby. The surrounding area is one of the hotel’s greatest advantages. The hotel itself is modern, clean and functional, with a calm, understated design. The rooms use pleasant, neutral colors and offer what I would describe as basic luxury — nothing excessive, but comfortable and well thought out. The air conditioning deserves special mention: it is exceptionally quiet, cools the room perfectly, and can be individually controlled, which makes a real difference. Where the hotel falls short is in the public spaces and overall feeling of hospitality. There is essentially one restaurant, but no real lounge or inviting lobby where you can sit, relax, read, have a coffee or simply spend some time outside your room. With only a minimum of staff on site, the experience can feel somewhat impersonal. I would also have appreciated a proper work and meeting area. Even something as simple as the kind of comfortable communal workspace you find in a Starbucks — somewhere to sit with a coffee, plug in a laptop, work for an hour or meet someone informally — would make the hotel much more versatile and welcoming. A hotel does not need to be luxurious to make guests feel cared for. A few comfortable public areas, a welcoming lobby, places to work or meet, good coffee and somewhere to relax outside the restaurant would create much more of a “home away from home” feeling. For me, the hotel currently feels a little like a budget hotel without the budget price tag. That said, the exceptional location, peaceful surroundings, modern and spotless rooms, and excellent air conditioning make it a place I would still recommend without hesitation. With a little more attention to the communal spaces and the guest experience beyond the room, it could become a truly outstanding hotel.

    There is NO Pool at this Hotel! although looking at the pictures plus the listings on this & several other websites. A pool is shown as one of the facilities. This is false advertising. I was very dissapointed. after being told the Hotel has No Pool or wellness fascilities by the receptionist. Also if you do not add breakfast when you book, they charge you €22.pp - it isn't a fair price. I didn't expect this from a 4 star establishment. I must say there was no problem with the room, the staff or the lifts. The parking was free next to the hotel car park.
