We had an amazing time on our two night stay at the Sunset Tower Hotel. The staff were excellent. The food was delicious. The pool was everything we expected. The place definitely has the chill, old Hollywood vibe.

We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of prosecco to our room to celebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with an amazing view and timeless classic decor. Great spacious rainfall shower, fluffy luxurious bedding, Nespresso coffee. This property is run by the most thoughtful and caring staff! Natasha at the restaurant was so welcoming making us feel like we were special and cared for. Our French waiter from Bordeaux was very attentive and fun! We enjoyed dinner and breakfast overlooking the pool with an amazing view of LA. Both were delicious! We loved the amazing view and timeless classic decor of our room. Great spacious rainfall shower, fluffy luxurious bedding, Nespresso coffee. This property is run by the most thoughtful and caring staff! Natasha at the restaurant was so welcoming making us feel like we were special and cared for. Our French waiter from Bordeaux was very attentive and fun! We enjoyed dinner and breakfast overlooking the pool with an amazing view of LA. Both were delicious! We also loved the turn down service at 5pm with cookies and water brought to our room. If you want a little old world Hollywood glamour with attention to detail and great service you will really enjoy this place. We made beautiful memories and hope to come back soon!

This place simply exudes 1930s classical elegance. The cocktails at The Tower Bar are top-notch, and the wonderful food menu is superb! Breakfast at the terrace is beautiful, and the staff service is excellent. This is a vintage experience, and there’s a reason why it’s popular with Hollywood A-Lister’s.

Everything about this hotel was wrong for the minute. We walked in the door. They made a mistake of running my credit card too many times which triggered and activated a fraud alert in which they tried to say that we were either not who we were or stealing from the hotel. The bill was rectified immediately once contacted the bank and they still were aggressive. My girlfriend was even Worried for her safety. By the pool, they didn’t give us trays. Just eat off the ground. Try to get a reservation within the hotel for dinner, but they didn’t reserve tables for anybody who is staying there. They were extremely rude and after we left after only being there for four hours, they said that on the phone they have clientele that “rents by the hour“. And then proceeded to try to charge me for a night that I didn’t even stay there. Stay away from this hotel they are the worst.

This hotel is wonderfully charming!! The hotel staff provided top notch service & there were several celeb spotting throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious for L.A. cozy, and having a natural breeze with the open window & view of L.A made it extra special! I can’t wait to return!!!

We had a marvelous time here at the Sunset Tower Hotel, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The valet greeted us warmly and opened the door for my daughter, and swiftly took care of our bags and showed us inside. We were offered an early check in by the lovely front desk staff, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was gorgeous, it felt like stepping into an Old Hollywood movie scene, and it was very clean and well kept. Dinner at The Tower Bar was fabulous, the food was impeccable and the ambience was just perfect. Our waiter was such a gentlemen, and very knowledgable about the menu. The complimentary coffee and tea service was a very nice touch as well. From check-in to check-out, our stay was nothing short of perfect. When asked if I would be returning, I couldn't help but reply with an excited, "Yes! Yes! YES!" I'm already looking forward to our next stay. One final thing I would like to mention, is that we were the youngest people we saw at the hotel, and we have stayed in places where the staff have treated us differently because at first glance they might assume young people don't understand the importance of gratuity (which of course is not the case) but regardless of our age, we were treated with respect and hospitality as valued guests like anyone else. This was greatly appreciated. I'm sure we will be back very soon.

The old Hollywood theme is cool and all, but the rooms definitely aren't the best. Definitelyva really nice bar area and restaurant, and it is an iconic place. If you do want to be right in the mix on the Sunset Strip, you'll love the location. I live in LA, so staying in such a busy area is really not for me

Overall, the staff were excellent and I enjoyed my stay. Rooms are definitely tired and could use an update. Good location, can walk to conveniences in West Hollywood if needed (grocery, wine stores, nails, food/bars etc). Slightly dark in the hotel also. But again, wonderful/attentive staff. Just could use an update!

We had a great time at the hotel. It’s an iconic landmark in Hollywood. As such we found ourselves staying at the same time as several private parties hosted for the Oscars which were happening that weekend. This meant some of the facilities were unavailable. This was initially disappointing, however the management team went above and beyond to ensure that this didn’t disrupt our enjoyment by arranging for a late checkout so we could use the pool and additionally offered discounts on checkout. There was a real sense that the management team were determined to ensure that our stay was a good one, so we are very grateful for that as as such have no problem recommending this hotel.

The rooms are in dire need of renovation. Furniture is in disrepair, dates, musty smell with single pane windows which allows noise from the street & heat to be ever present in the room. Also, beware of dangerous situation when the french door window is open as the "railing" has openings well over the 6" requirement for safety.
