Just love stopping here. The food is really first class and the staff are lovely. We stay here on the way or way back from our sons in Somerset. It has weddings on a weekend and the restaurant closes on a Monday so we do try to fit our travel plans in so we can stop here.

Received a warm welcome by a young polite gentleman. Gave us good advice on a trip we were planning whilst showing us to our room which was large and clean. Personally I would have preferred a shower but the corner bath was fine. The bed was very comfortable.
The hotel is an old building in need of some restoration but it has lots of charm.
Unable to comment on the evening meal
but there was a good choice to be had for breakfast and was cooked to order.
Its not 5 star but would certainly recommend it
