The room and appliances are very old. Very Old looking. Everything worked except for Heat function on A/C for Mid January stay. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping was as fine. The lobby needs updating too as well as the eateries. Although food was not bad at all and very convenient to access. The pool, pool bar and pool are probably best thing. The location and beach access was Fantastic. Hotel just needs bigtime upgrades but service was good and location excellent. Put an 100 million upgrade into this building and you have yourself a prime 5 star hotel. Of course my rate would double.

didn't feel that the pics represented the actual room :( wasn't impressed with the room especially the bathroom. bathroom shower was step up tub that was cracking. the location was great but won't recommend or go back.

Terrible customer service at front desk. Paid 30 a day for parking and called down for my car and was sitting waiting for 30 minutes as two valet attendants were standing there..I asked can you please check on my car and to find out no one went to get bits.

Terrible accommodation. It was not what was advertised on the app. The facilities are old and dirty, and in addition to the rate I was charged, I was also charged extra fees for parking, hotel tax, and a deposit. The room I reserved was supposed to have an ocean view, but I was given a room with a street view, and the balcony was full of metal structures and construction materials. The TV did not work. I had to call the front desk four times, and after three hours they finally sent a technician. During my last call, the front desk agent dismissively told me that if I wasn’t satisfied, I should either change rooms or find another hotel. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty and worn out. The ice machine was not working, and only one elevator was operating in the entire hotel. When opening the kitchen cabinets to take out a plate, there was trash and dirt in the corners, as if they hadn’t been cleaned at all. The same situation was present in the refrigerator, both inside at the top and on the outside. The price I was charged is not worth what little they offer. I believe this is not the way a guest should be treated, especially when trying to resolve legitimate issues.

Checked-in late after long haul flight. Found four long black hairs on the bathroom wall. Informed the front desk early next morning and was offered a room change. Declined as we were unpacked and scheduled to go out for the day. We asked them to make sure it was cleaned. Returned later in the day to find room had been cleaned, but 4 black hairs still remained. We asked for them to be removed and returned later to find only two removed and two still remaining. This time we took the room change. No formal apology. No offer of compensation for the inconvenience.

We had a dance convention this weekend and chose this place to stay because of the reasonable price compared to ones that are near the JW Turnberry (location of the convention). Plus, it was located right on the beach. You must valet when you get here and of course there is a charge for those built into the price of the stay. We understand that since there is no parking lot on premises, they use the lot right next door. They also let you know that it takes about 20 min to get your car so be mindful of the time. Checking in was easy and the staff is super nice. The hotel doesn’t offer much for eating except a pizza place and a small food café, they do have a small shop along with a barbershop on premises. The pool was nice, and they had plenty of towels. The beach is right there after the pool, which was very nice too. Chairs and umbrella were not included in our stay $20/umbrella and $10/1 chair. The room was a little dated and since they have stoves in the room, your neighbor might be cooking and there will be some smells coming from the rooms. The bed was not bad, but not excellent either. Sheets were cleaned but the chairs in the room were ready to fall apart. The thermostat in the room must be from the 60’s because I’ve never seen ones like these before. You might want to turn the fan down since it can be loud. Overall, the stay was not bad and not much you can do about the rooms being so dated.

Clean room! Very spacious. It had a decent sized refrigerator (not a dorm fridge), a stove top, dishes. It was a mini studio apt. And the price was perfect. It was reasonable for a place right on the beach. It is older & only12 floors- not a highrise. But the history of the place makes up for that. I loved thinking about how the hotel was hear long before all the others and it is still going strong!

The room was the most outdated with stained walls and baseboards, chipped floor tiles, lights that did not work. The furniture, mainly the lazy boy couch was broken. Couldn’t get the one side to go down and could not get the other side to go up. Also, there was construction going on next door all week long. Very loud and disturbing. Also staff at pool were like policemen. Watching your every move. Could not eat or drink at pool unless you bought from the tiki outside restaurant which costed your arm and leg for payment. Very uncomfortable situation when someone tried to bring food to the pool area. They were confronted by staff, This was absolutely the worst room-resort we have ever stayed at. Disgusting all around. Valet for parking the car was good. And Pizza Bianca was great with friendly people. Will not ever be returning!!!!

Room was supposed to include a kitchen, got only a microwave and refrigerator. Tiny sink, no cooktop. Several mis-matched plates and silverware with one somewhat sharp serrated knife. Coffee in room but no coffeemaker. (Good thing be brought out own!) Water was off for several hours one day. Lots of construction going on, causing lots of noise. Tub was slippery (no safety patches) and bath was dingy and needed painting. Room was small. Doordash bag left outside the room was there when we checked in, still there four days later when we checked out. Bed changed on day 3, but towels not changed (we mistakenly left them on hooks so they'd dry after learning they'd not be changed daily)! Outdoor deck had great view of water, but only two hard-back upright chairs for sitting, no tables, no lounger. We will NOT be coming back to this place!

The room was filthy. Hair everywhere. Splatter of who knows what on the cupboards. The couch was so gross I didn’t dare sit. On top of that there was NO heat or hot water. We asked and she said the hotel didn’t have heat…. I asked for extra blankets they didn’t have any. They found one and brought it up hours later. I went to bed with long pants, socks a hoodie and jacket. Terrible in every aspect. Very run down, disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotel itself is old. We stayed in the ninth floor and on the hallway to the room, there is a giant hole in the room. The doors around the hotel are all worn and and dilapidated and it's in dire need of a re painting. The suspended roof ceiling tiles seem to all be watered damaged and stained. That should really be a low cost replacement. I also had the unfortunate luck to hear one of the manager and one of the contractors speaking about a electrical short in the hotel in one of the meeting rooms. Hopefully that doesn't lead to any fires or issues for the people living there and guests. Be careful with food stand in the middle of the lobby. They will charge more then the prices listed in the menus. You have to wait 30 minutes for the valet to get your car ready when they basically park it in the driveway runabout in front of the hotel. The room itself was just ok. The "hotel" is also a place where people can buy rooms to live in so keep that in mind when thinking that this is just for people visiting. The only reason worth staying at this place is beach that it's attached too. Me and my partner were lucky enough to stay during absolutely beautiful weather which made it great to go out and spend the day in the sand.
