Red Roof is a nice hotel. The staff is fantastic and helpful all the time. Kindness is not hard to do, but the staff does its very well.

Arrived late on day of check in and was greeted by a pleasant employee stating she personally cleaned the room. Upon entry the room had a very heavy smoke smell. When turning on the air, an even heavier smoke smell was circulated and probably was not cigarette smoke. You could tell the room was renovated, however, the air conditioner vents were very dusty, the hair dryer was full of dust and hair, and someone’s used wash cloth was left hanging on the shower curtain rod. The rooms come with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, however, there were no coffee cups. There was no comforter, however there was a blanket with a flat sheet on top. There was no other flat sheet on the bed. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were hard and smelled. The towels were not the crisp white that we’ve become accustomed to. They were dingy and stained.
As stated in other reviews, the hotel key does not work the entire time resulting in you needing to get the card reprogrammed. That seemed to be an inconvenience for the front desk staff as they were obviously watching tv and eating.
The place is quiet and the grounds are tended to nicely. It appears there are people living in this establishment with some perhaps questionable activity going on in the late hours. Parking is in abundance, however due to the appearance of people living here, if you arrive late, you will be left to either double park, or park along the swimming pool sidewalk.
This was a quick trip so it served it’s purpose of giving a place to sleep, however, will not be returning if back in the area.
