The West End Loft - 5* Retreat - Private Parking!

This apartment has such a charming design, and I loved all the little touches everywhere. It was great to be able to open the windows and get some fresh air. We booked last minute due to a different management company canceling our booking (that we arranged two months in advance 🙄 ) and felt lucky to snag this great location for the night. We walked around and had no shortage of choices for dinner and socializing. Definitely appreciated the parking spot behind the building, a convenient perk that made our departure much simpler. Lock box is directly by the front door, though you do need to stoop/squat - but my back and knees put up with it! We didn't use the laundry because we were there such a short time, but it's great it's there.

No fault of the property at all, and if I'd had more time and options when making this last minute replacement booking, I would have gotten somewhere with an elevator (or on the ground floor). Third floor walkup with cases and a back/leg injury was tough. And a small inconvenience, but it would be great if there was a way to have either two sets of keys or a keypad, etc. so that everyone in your party can go around independently. But overall we were very happy with the apartment!

We loved the location, close to shops, restaurants and both Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic gardens. Well appointed spaces, surprisingly quiet considering proximity to a main road. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom. Host was attentive and kept in touch throughout our stay.

Camina kindly let us leave bags when we arrived super early on the sleeper train. Lovely host. Beautifully designed in a great part of Glasgow near great restaurants and green space. Loved it.

Great location. Like the space and size and well equipped.

The bed in the master bedroom is rather soft and flimsy for such a nicely decorated and good apartment. Also the blind particularly in the spare room is pretty useless
