About this house rental
Self contained housing unit in Kato Gouves (in a block of 3 joint), located only 15 km east from Heraklion (15 minutes drive on the high way). It's only 300 meters from the beach and it's surrounded by flowers and olive trees. It has a private entrance and country yard and also a shower outside, which can be used, when return from swimming. The area is quite and you can take many walks around to discover the nature. Also in short distance, you can find supermarkets, coffee bars and little shops.
The house inside, has one bedroom with 2 single beds, a wardrobe with hangers, an iron and iron board and a floor fan. Also, there is a bathroom/wc with various amenities and essentials (towels, soap, shampoo, etc). Additionally, there is an open living room / kitchen with air-condition. This area has a TV with a variety of free satellite channels, a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, glasses etc. Free wifi internet is available, in all rooms inside the house.
In Heraklion you can visit the palace of Knossos, the historical and archaeological museums, the old town of Heraklion with the Lions Square , the Loggia , the Venetian Harbor etc.
Cretan Aquarium , one of the biggest and most interesting Aquariums in the Mediterranean Sea, is only 1km west of our location. The ''Dinosauria Park'', is also located in the same area.
Since we are located in the middle of the island , it makes it ideal for daily excursions all over the island.

Ideal location for us; very quiet in an old olive grove, near the sea and walking distance to the local centre.
Manos, our host, was very attentive, friendly and welcoming.
Apartment was perfect with a nice outside seating area. Local road and path to the sea is run down, but not an issue for us.

Das Haus war sauber und gut bestückt. Auch auf der Terasse befanden sich eine Vielzahl von Sitzgelegenheiten, ein Sonnenschirm und eine Markiese. Manos, der Vermieter, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er zeigte uns nach unserer Ankunft noch die nähere Umgebung damit wir uns zurecht finden.

nous avons passé trois semaines dans cette location très confortable et de plus très bien équipée.nous avons beaucoup apprécié le panier d'accueil.l'accueil chaleureux et discution agréable le propriétaire prend soin de ses locataires, vous reccomande des endroit magnifique plages restaurants villes ect.merci encore a MR Manos stavrakakis.

Accueil chaleureux et discution agreable. Le proprietaire prend soin de ses clients et penses meme a vous rendre le plus heureux possible. Je le recommande su vous chercher un logement tranquille, beau et a 5mn a pied de la plage. Il est bien situer et si vous avez louer une voiture. Heraklion est a 15mn en voiture. Spinalonga est a 45mn en voiture avec la nouvelle route en direction de agios nikolaos.
Sinon il y a une cour privatif avec de belle fleur, 2 transat pour bronzer, une table exterieure, une douche exterieure egalement pour vous laver quand vous rentrer de la plage. La clim reversible vous aidera a mieu dormir et a mieu supporter la grande chaleur d'ete.
