About this house rental
Lovely 90 square meters apartment in the heart of Monopoli's old town centre, with a wonderful sight of the seaside and with indipendent terrace. The house is sat 30 mt away from Carlo V castle, 50 mt away from the beach (rocky beach) and 5 minutes away (by foot) from well-known beaches of Portavecchia, Porto Rosso e Porto Bianco; you can also choose between free beaches and equipped ones. The location of the apartment makes you able to live the town in the total serenity, without the need of using a car.
IN CASE, WE CAN RENT MOTOR-SCOOTERS AND CARS BY NOTICING IT IN THE BOOKING
You have everything you could need in the neighborhood: supermarkets, the fresh fish and the fruit markets, bars, shops, pharmacies, DISCOS and whatever you could need during your holiday. The newly rinovated apartment (dicember 2010) is excellently well-refined. We recommend it to couples looking for a love nest or to families with children.
The house is the ideal one if you're looking for a holiday distinguished by relax, sea and, why not, by some nightlife fun.
In old town centre there are several services: typical trattorie, open-air bars and nightclubs (reachable by foot from the house) while, at Capitolo (a Monopoli's contrada) you can find discos and pub for young guys.
The house is composed by a spacious kitchen (bar area, stools, chairs and equipped hob - tableware, refrigerator, pots) and a beautiful living room with sofa, tv lcd 32", dvd player, stero, etc.

The property was in a quiet cul de sac, it was clean and beautifully maintained. Central location and fully equipped.Three of us stayed there comfortably, even the steep stairs were not a problem. The outside space was lovely, great for breakfast or a coffee.Francesco was so helpful and welcoming, even when we turned up late because of flight delays. Anything we needed to know he gave a quick response. I would confidently recommend this lovely home and host and am looking forward to returning.

We had a fabulous holiday in Monopoli. It is a beautiful city, full of atmosphere and history. Rocco's house is a traditional house in the historical centre. It is built like a tall cave structure made from heavy stone. It is unlike anywhere we have stayed before, so we feel we were true locals.
Francesco made us very welcome, and the house was clean and nicely furnished. The position of the house is central but also quiet. We all loved it.
The house was lacking some equipment such as cleaning stuff, towels or beach toys, maybe an umberella for the roof terrace. Otherwise, we were very happy.
