Great stay

Everything that's working well, it felt like home away from home. Very close to a lot of facilities, including Stellenbosch University. The host was super kind. Would definitely book again.

The couch in the living room. It's a bit hard to sleep on. The lack of a shower curtain in the shower, water scatters all over the bathroom when showering.

Definitely not worth the money paid

Absolute NOTHING

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unit Not Up to Standard I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay. The problems began even before my arrival. After my booking was confirmed and payment made, I received a message stating that the booking was cancelled due to someone else still occupying the unit. Thankfully, the new manager eventually resolved the issue and confirmed my booking again. On arrival, I was met by Liesl, who was friendly and accommodating. Check-in was smooth and to my satisfaction. However, the condition of the unit was completely unacceptable. It was immediately evident that someone had been living in the unit for an extended period. The space was extremely dirty: The curtains clearly had not been cleaned in months. One of the chairs had long-standing stains. The floors were so dirty I couldn’t walk barefoot without my feet becoming visibly dusty. The bathroom mirror had a large, permanent stain, making it unusable. The gas stove did not work properly and could only be lit manually with a lighter. The safety gate had issues with locking and unlocking, posing a security concern. Overall, the unit is not maintained to a standard that is acceptable for paying guests. I would strongly recommend that the property be temporarily closed and undergo a full revamp — including deep cleaning, repairs, and a fresh coat of paint. Skirtings and door frames are in desperate need of attention, as are the general furnishings. This experience has unfortunately caused me to question whether I’ll continue using Booking.com, as this is not the first time I’ve encountered a substandard property. I will not be returning to this particular unit and hope this feedback prompts meaningful improvements.

Needs updating.

Nice apartment with all the facilities we needed, as well as secure basement parking.

Well equipment apartment, but the furniture, curtains, bedding, and floor mats were not clean (stained). These items may have to be replaced with new fresh items. It was not easy to find as no building name or address was given, a street location only. Maybe update the unit description building name and include street address details.

We stayed very comfortably. We enjoyed our stay.

It was very easily accessible and had everything we needed for our stay.

The flat was not very clean. The bedding had dirty marks and the bathroom mats were definitely not washed prior to our arrival. Most of the pots and pans and furniture were covered with a layer of dust. The pot-plants are also in need of some tlc. They were bone dry and some are busy dying. The television were also not working as stated on the booking amenities.

the unit was fine, and we enjoyed our stay.

The property was super close to my son's house for his 21st and it was so convenient. It was clean and comfortable and did the job.

there was no makeup mirror, a bit difficult to apply makeup with the bathroom mirror at that angle. maybe put a small mobile makeup mirror in the unit, so the lady can apply makeup while her partner is showering, and she doesn't have to use a steamed-up mirror that has no lighting. just a thought :) There were no hair towels.

Our stay was beautiful, and we will use the place again and also recommend it to others.

The directions and instruction to get the keys and the facility were so clear and very useful. The video that was shared was also so helpful, beautiful place indeed.

It was a cold weekend. So the facility can try to warm up the place especially when the weather is not ideal. There is the aircon system but we couldn't find the remote to operate it. Either than that we were comfortable.

Dissapointment of no lift working

Apartment self was very comfortable and lovely stay

.Having to climb 7 flights of stairs daily was not a pleasure at all especially being two elderly people one with a knee problem amd other with a hip problem.. And not being informed before hand about the lift not working then could rather have looked for other ground level accomodation... My dad feels it was unfair and asks for a partial refund for the inconvenience of the stairs during their stay for the 8 days.
