Unreal spot
Probably the lack of sleep you can get if you go out every night and people being a little to loud when they wake up but that’s what a hostel is

Very clean, lots of space, good food and drink
Bed wasn’t very comfy and bedroom let a lot of light in

This is my second stay at The Farm - first was Dec 2024, and now Dec 2025. I love the vibes here, I love the people, I love the staff, I love the free breakfast, I love the location, I love the activities…it’s really a great place to get to know people and make really wholesome friends. I entered the hostel alone, and left with so many friends and an overflowing heart. I’ll be back again soon x
Maybe the lizards on the door😂 I’m terrified of lizards, but they’re everywhere in Bali…you can’t do much about it

Nice hostel, located in the main areas - lots of cafe, shops, resto around.
Also easily accesible via grab/gojek to nearby places.
The staffs super friendly, with whom i love talking with. 10 out of 10
Sadly too noisy despite the rules clearly mentioned.
The room gets dirty and some were soo messy, where they even spilled drinks on my bed.
The staffs not to be blamed since they assisted in any way possible.
Not possible to sleep even during the day, as people keep coming in and when doors opened, loud music playing.
If you want just party, getting drunk etc, then the place to be esp with the organizing team.
But otherwise if you want something quiet, preferably another hostel.

I had such an incredible stay. I’ve been coming back to this hostel for as long as I remember, each time it exceeds my expectations. Mia, Grace, Brandon, Tristan and Khaim were such a vibe, insanely welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to come back again.
I loved everything !!!

It was a great location and very aesthetically pleasing. There are events on everyday, it’s very sociable. The rooms are nice and beds are good with plenty of storage. The outdoor bathrooms are also very nice.
It was very overwhelming it times, do not some here unless you want to party and meet new people. There is also not much space by the pool during the day. There is also only one breakfast option which comes with the stay. There are also no locks on the doors to the rooms, however there is security at the front

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! It was clean, everything you needed, very friendly and helpful staff. Plus the reps are the best at their jobs! Constantly keeping the vibe up and getting everyone out of their shell and involved! I was supposed to only stay 3 nights but I loved it that much I extended another 2! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Canggu

Nice pool, good size beds and you get two pillows. The rooms are cleaned every day.
The bathroom was muddy from the stones, and the toilet was in a weird position. The location is tricky to access.

Horribly dirty sheets, worse than any other hostel I’ve stayed in (also super dirty walls and curtains, again definitely the worst cleanliness we’ve seen in a hostel).
The hostel also constantly played loud music, so we couldn’t sleep (and annoyingly made worse by staff shouting down megaphones).
After a month in Indonesia (and having stayed in ~40 hostels across Europe, Aus and SE Asia) this was the worst hostel we have experienced, and we wouldn’t recommend. We ended up leaving after one night, and booking somewhere else to stay.

The room was clean.
1) I tried to make a payment before I come. They told me that it is not possible.
2) I have tried to make a payment when I arrived, the lady at the reception said it was too early.
3) I have tried to make a payment at night, the lady at the reception said it is too late.
4) When I was in a hurry on the next day (we were taking my friend to the hospital), she was like, 'YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW!'
I was very pissed off because of her attitude and told her that she need to wait!

The rooms were well set up
lots of mosquitoes, bathroom wind cant fully close so noisy inside room even with door closed and mosquitoes can get in
4.0 / 10.0
Pool area was nice
The room I was given looked nothing like the photo’s of the room I had booked, especially the bathroom which I was shocked walking in to and the rooms felt dirty. (I had booked a 6 bed female only with a garden bathroom)

The layout of the hostel was awesome with lots of areas to chill round the pool and upstairs
5.0 / 10.0
Decent location. Very social for travellers. They provide a towel and blanket. Beds were comfortable but very loud if you moved slightly during the night.
A bit more expensive for a hostel, small pool and not loads of room to sit around it.

Events each night were great

So much fun, great room, great organised nights out etc
The lockers in the room are metal and super loud not really an issue but if you were to change something I’d say make them less noisy for people coming in at different times of night

This place was amazing. Reps were amazing and so welcoming. Special shoutout to Anna she was fabulous
Nothing to dislike

Breakfast was pretty small, room was clean and bed was comfy
There wasn't much of an introduction to the property - where to go for things, how to load wristband, etc.
Also was pretty taken aback to hear one of the reps trying to convince a 19 y/o traveling solo to come out and "double her body count" because she's only here once. Bragging about going to a villa with a bunch of guys and hiring prostitutes is a weird thing to do for a rep.

Big comfy beds and nice size room for the deluxe. Nice pool area and food was good. Hosted events in the evening.
Our bathroom was super messy when arrived but can’t fault the hostel for that. A little bit tedious only being allowed to pay through wristbands, having to keep topping them up.
6.0 / 10.0
Sociable and good location, comfy beds. Good curtains and lockers etc. There was security which is unusual for a hostel.
Music was on really loudly until late but this may have just been our room as it was next to the kitchen/canteen area. Didn’t like the wristband payment system as if you lost the wristband then the money was gone. Weren’t allowed food in the rooms and it was generally quite restrictive. It felt like we were on a school trip or something but being encouraged to drink a lot which felt quite strange. The free breakfast was cut off early and wouldn’t serve our friend, the breakfast itself was quite stingy. Wouldn’t stay again as there are other nicer social home stays/hotels which are cheaper! No locks on the dorms so lots of people came in and out of our dorm room who weren’t sleeping there. We weren’t given a door key at check in. The reception closed very early also.

Location was pretty good, easy to get a grab. Some rooms were clean.
This hostel felt quite intimidating as a solo traveller as there were a lot of large groups who only wanted to party. I felt that the reps were there only to get you drunk and partake in drinking games. The pool water turned my hair green so be careful there. The hostel was very loud at night and it seemed more friendly for a very younger crowd, maybe not as a solo traveller. This being said, Canggu is a place to party and probably wasn’t my style, but for the price of the hostel, I would’ve expected there to be more things to do other than drink.

The gym area only.
The charging points were not working, there was hair on my bed when I checked in.
The bed sheets had stains and the hostel had lots of young people who just wanted to drink & party.
As a 32 year old I’m never staying here omg.

Had the best time at the Farm hostel!! Every night there was an activity, which was so much fun! I kept extending my stay :) Ray and Gabby are the best, thank you for making my stay even better! Going back someday hopefully!

Just great! The social host Glenn helped out with anything, very much appreciated! Not to forget about Gaby, she is amazing :)
6.0 / 10.0
Aesthetically it’s very nice. Gorgeous large outdoor bathroom with plenty of vanity space and large shower head. Room near the beds for storage and lockers. Gorgeous pools. Good location.
Beds and roller doors are loud. This hostel seemed to attract young friend groups rather than open solo travellers wanting to meet new people. Honestly created a very immature and cliquey vibe that I’ve not experienced at hostels before (though this is my first party hostel I guess). Maybe don’t stay here if you’re over 24/travelling solo.
