The location by the lake is beautiful and I'm quite sure I'll spend some more days there soon. The town "Himmelpfort" is fun because the post office is the "official" address of Germany's Santa; the main attraction are the four or five lakes around town. Nearby Furstenberg is easy to reach (3 miles or so) and has some good and cheap grocery stores. All in all a positive experience.
It was all fine. The accomodation was simple but okay. You cannot expect a luxury hotel after renting a cabin in the woods.

Beautiful scenery
Beautiful scenery and very quiet and relaxing area. We had a great time in Autumn (amazing colors). And a nice night around the bbq (although do not forget to bring some wood). There is a lot of beautiful lakes at walking distance, including one right next to the place. Overall, this is a perfect place for people who want to find peace and quiet and being surrounded by beautiful wildness.

Quite and family friendly place. Place was clean. Walk to lake and boat was available for boating.
It was cold. Only one heater and took 4-5 hours to get to a comfortable temperature. Not ideal for kids.

Wochenende in der Natur
Was für ein schönes Fleckchen Erde! Wir waren eine große Gruppe mit Kindern und es hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Die Bungalows waren gemütlich und sauber, geschlafen haben alle bestens. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, die Küche war klein aber fein und alles da was man brauchte. Für die Kinder war die Ferienanlage optimal. Der gesamte Bereich war eingezäunt, der Spielplatz und die Tischtennisplatte waren immer Mode und auch so gab's im Wald ja auch immer was zu entdecken. Ein kleines Highlight waren dann noch die Boote die nur wenige Meter hinter der Anlage an einem Steg genutzt werden konnten. Baden konnte man dort nicht, aber nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, war ein weiterer See mit Badestelle, Spielplatz und Volleyballfeld. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Wochenende, die Kinder waren begeistert und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!!

Bungalow am See
Ganz tolle Anlage mit nostalgischen Charme. Sauber und gepflegt. Wer Bungalow Urlaub liebt ist hier genau richtig! Bungalows sind sauber und vollkommen ausreichend ausgestattet. Eigener Bootssteg vorhanden, Tischtennisplatte, Grillplatz, Parkplatz, Spielplatz einfach alles da. Herrlich ruhige Lage. Kinder können sich frei bewegen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
