About this apartment rental
Escala: Apartment located 300 meters from the beach and 100 meters Riells Yacht Club terrace and spectacular sea and mountain views. Spectacular sunny garden of 1000 m2 with 2 swimming pools (one for children), air conditioning and free WiFi internet, Fifth floor with elevator, consists of a large double room with bed 160 cm x 190 cm and space to accommodate a cot or extra bed. Capacity for 4/5 adults (double bed in a room more sofa bed type nest in the dining room for two adults in bed 200 x 80 cm each). Kitchen, microwave, washing machine, iron, cable TV, air conditioning, heating. Large terrace with spectacular ocean, Gulf of Rosas, and Club Nautico.
L'Escala is a small village of Alt Empordà (Girona-Catalonia-Spain) located in a privileged location on the Costa Brava, south of the Gulf of Roses and near the natural park of the Medes Islands. Typical fishing village, ideal for nature lovers, the beach and the sea. With its famous Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries, beautiful beaches and coves, ideal conditions to practice all water sports, hiking, biking or just strolling by the sea are given. The kitchen, of great prestige, has made anchovies must for all gourmets plate.
For driving directions:
From Barcelona and from France: take exit 5 of the AP7 Orriols (20 kms of the scale) and then take the GI-623 which leads directly scale.
To arrive by train:
From Barcelona and Portbou: the commuter line Barcelona-Portbou is caught. This line's main stops Figueres, Girona, Sant Celoni, Barcelona Paseo de Gracia (which links to the airport) and Barcelona Sants. And from portbou you can catch the French railway.
To arrive by bus;
From Barcelona Sarfa: 1 bus daily on weekdays and 2 buses on weekends.
From Girona, with Sarfa: 4 trips a day, and 'buses on weekends.
From Figueras, also Sarfa, 5 buses daily
The nearest airports are:
Girona Airport (55 kms.). From the airport you can get to L'Escala:
* Taxi: costs about 75 euros.
* Take a bus to the airport, change at Girona station and take another direct bus Scale.
* In Girona, take a train to camallera 15 kms. L'Escala and then take a taxi), or to Figueres and then take a bus)
Barcelona airport (140 kms.). From the airport you can reach the scale:
* Taxi: approximately EUR 150
* From the airport you can take the train and get to Girona or Figueres and take the bus
Perpingnan airport (100 kms)

El apartamento está situado cerca del puerto en una zona tranquila
El apartamento es pequeñito pero está limpio, tiene una terraza con toldo con unas vistas preciosas y tiene aire acondicionado.
El propietario Alex fue encantador des del primer momento nos envió información de cómo llegar, la entrada etc.. y nos recomendó un lugar donde hacen paellas para llevar que nos quitaron el hipo .

appart très agréable, propre et bien situé
pas de clim après 22 h donc difficile de dormir la nuit
et pas très bien équipé en ustensile pour cuisiner
