Experience rural Slovenia with a twist! ;-)

This is a dream place in the mountains, with a small farm, a restaurant on site and a jacuzzi!!!! We arrived in the afternoon and did not want to leave the next day!

The rooms were not soundproof but this is normal as it is a wooden floor we are talking about... Breakfast was lower than expected but probably this was because the place was closing for the season the next day.

Fantastic stay in a lovely valley

Fantastic stay with a stunning location in a beautiful quite side valley (car advisable to reach and move around). Hiking trails and rivers close by. Quite vast hotel area in the greens, with cars only allowd to park where one can walk and kids can play freely. Breakfast and dinner were of fantastic quality, the menu featured local dishes, freshly prepared! Can definitely also be recommended to families, as they have a swimming pool, an animal farm a small playground and a fire place on-site.

It would be nice if the spa services had specific hours and it was included in the price Such as open from 4-8pm and the cost of the rooms were just a little bit more to cover spa services. I never saw anyone using the spa services while we were there.

Absolutely stunning location and wonderful hospitality

The setting is spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and you feel like you are in a private mountain hideaway. We loved our stay here.

It would be helpful if the hotel created its own map of the recommended hiking spots, where to park, where to find the trailhead, etc. We had a bit of trouble finding trailhead, etc.

The Location was great and the outside area of the property was awesome. I liked the animals and the pool area

The room especially the bathroom wasn’t 100% clean, at least not as clean as you would expect for that price. There was dirt, dust and cobwebs on the floor especially in the corners so that really wasn’t cleaned that well. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. There was only one type of bread which was white toast and only one type of sad looking cheese. No fresh coffee maker just in a pot to keep it warm and it wasn’t filtered properly so I had the suds in mine. Very little options to choose from and just all in all not that great. For that price I would have expected a lot more value.

I usually don't write reviews, but now I just can't keep quiet I stopped by on business and decided to stay at the Pristava Lepena hotel, which I have never regretted Excellent location, well-kept clean territory with beautiful natural landscapes, very pleasant and friendly staff, both in the hotel itself and in the restaurant The restaurant dishes are very tasty, I recommend trying the ribs, you will definitely not regret it Thank you, Pristava Lepena,

I definitely recommend this hotel. Very nice location. The look and feel of a real village. Spent the night in a luxurious house. Very clean, cozy, modern, despite the improvisation of the village. Heated floors and a chic fireplace. The hotel also has a spa center where you can have a good time. During my stay at this hotel, I tried the Jacuzzi, I give it 10 points! I spent an unforgettable time in this hotel. Thanks to the hotel staff for their efforts and friendliness! I wish this place prosperity.

Nice place - poor staff

Good

The person at Reception was unhelpful including being dismissive, in a huge hurry to move us on, and was not clear on the services. She said we could use the hot tub and pool if we made a reservation which we did. There was no mention of any charge and at check out we were charged 50 Euro for using the hot tub for 30 minutes. The waiter at the Restaurant was at times condescending.

Peaceful location and excellent starting point for excursions.

Fantastic location in peaceful Lepena valley. Perfect starting point for excursions like hiking, bike tours, swimming or rafting. Very nice terrace restaurant with excellent food. Each little “house” has the facilities of a hotel room. Bath rug for bathroom floor was replaced daily.

The rooms were quite dark, cold and humid; poor & cold lighting. Staff is “educated friendly”. You are kindly being served as a tourist; not warmly welcomed as a guest. Example: the restaurant is open till 10 pm, kitchen closing at 9:30 pm; on our final evening (we dined in the resto each 3 evenings before) we arrived at 9:15 and staff did not appear amused.

Well located. Beautiful location. Close to the Soca river and hiking trails. Quiet. 15 minutes from Bovec. Amazing staff and great attention to our needs.

The price is not for a room and rather per number of occupants. Too expensive for a family of four. No kitchen/stove in the room. Only a sink, fridge and boiling water. Still very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location, and overall great property. The whole valley is absolutely amazing, and this property in a great little spot and is a great property.

The service/staff friendliness is lacking. There were issues with communication before coming to the property and then there was limited flexibility to accommodate our needs, e.g. staring breakfast 15min earlier, so that we could go to our morning activity that we have reserved...

Worthwhile the climb!

Hotel is nicely and quietly located between the mountains and the river Soča. The rooms are housed in separate chalets and the whole area is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is really nice and all the staff equally friendly. Behind the domain there's lots of space to walk the dogs.

This is the best place we've seen during our round-trip in Slovenia. No complaints!

Great location for 2-4 nights.

The environment is breathtaking, the surroundings a dream. Best view ever. It’s so worth going here a few nights just for that. Great one could wash clothes there. Animals and cats gorgeous and the restaurant was very good.

The huts are a bit too small and easily damp. The towels never dry up and staff ought to change them daily, bc they just never dry up. That didn’t happen. Also maintenance staff kept smoking alit, so one felt cigarette smoke quite often when trying to use the outside patio. Didn’t fit the beautiful area, at all.

Exceptional

It was very nice. A place for solitude with nature, at night you can see the sky with stars. There are animals. Breakfast is delicious, you can even order pancakes. Great staff. A girl (a brunette with short hair) worked at the reception, we asked where we could go in the vicinity, she advised a lot of things. Rest was a success!!!

An out of the way country inn in a beautiful area.

Rustic, isolated country-inn atmosphere, with separate quadplex cabins. Scenic natural setting, very quiet area. Restaurant had varied self-service breakfast offerings, and also an accomplished evening meal menu and service. Bedrooms were small, and bathrooms were compact, to say the least --but both well furnished.

Staff are minimal, with some tradeoffs on timely access, e.g., at reception area you have to call someone to check in to register and to check out upon leaving. But it's more part of the atmosphere than an inconvenience.

Amazing place, almost fairy-tale property with Lipizzaner horses, farm animals to see on t property-great for kids.

The restaurant is not serving true Slovenian dishes. The menu in Slovene had many grammatical errors. When asking for a Cappuccino in the morning a young woman said “the cappuccino is not included in the breakfast”. I think that a resort with so many beautiful views/sights and well designed cottages deserves to show high-end service.

Perfect little resort to get lost at and recharge.

Exceptional staff, amazing kitchen/restaurant, well equipped spa center, perfect secluded location next to the beautiful river, with lots of activities to be carried out nearby (be it winter or summer).

Had a small incident with the fire place in one of the cabins but staff was amazing and quick to respond and relocated us to another in just a few hours. There are no negatives to this place 🙃
