Excellent 1-night stay on the way from the ferry.

The chambre d’hôte as excellent value. The room was clean and comfortable. The house is set in magnificent grounds, with private car parking (no need to unload the car) a short way from the Calais motorway. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The private bathroom was across an unfrequented corridor closed off by a curtain. It was not a real problem.

Above and beyond!

A lovely house set in a large private garden on the edge of a quiet village not far from the motorway. Valerie and Fabrice were the perfect hosts, we were made to feel so welcome for our 1 night stay. Dinner and breakfast wonderful, every effort made to provide fresh and home made. Aperitif too on arrival! Bedroom private, airy and silent. Would definitely stay again on our way to/from French Alps.

Breakfast is just what you would hope for in France: fresh and homemade. Location is excellent and easy to find, just next to the town water tower

Unique and pleasant stay

Quirky decor but it worked and everything was well thought out and clearly a work of passion. The most memorable part of the stay was our hostess, Valerie, such a beautiful, genuine soul who took care of our every need. Breakfast was a delight..

We were the only ones there that night so we had our own bathroom but I wasn't sure if it could have been shared if there were others staying - worth checking.

Great host, not so great amenities.

The host Valerie was amazing! She was super nice and helpful! She went above and beyond hosting us well.

The internet connection sucks in the room we were at. It was working in the bathroom area only. The water drainage in the shower was poor. There was no kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. The host was super helpful and made tea for us in the kitchen; but for somebody who looks for convenience, it wasn’t the right set-up. Lastly, some people might like the soft bed, but this bed was extremely soft and looked dated.

Our hosts, Valérie and Fabrice, couldn’t have been kinder. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. They were attentive without ever being intrusive—genuinely warm people who clearly care deeply about their guests’ experience.

This is a dishonest scam, stay away!

The location and the property were nice

The room was advertised as including use of the spa, which we requested and used with no issues, and no mention of any cost. On departure, the host demanded 45euro for having used the spa for an hour, with the access gate being closed until I made payment

Super lovely friendly owner. Dog welcome. Super clean and safe parking as the car was full on way to the ferry. Breakfast though all I wanted was an egg and fruit was perfect. Great coffee

Not much - the undersheet, but I don’t like plastic undersheets and I over heat so always have to take them off and I’ve had them in many a 5* hotel so not really a criticism - it’s me. The stay was great!

Außergewöhnliche Lage auf dem Land. Ein riesiger schön angelegter Garten zum Entspannen. Super liebe Gastgeber. Flexibel trotz sehr später Anreise. Ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Eiern und Marmelade aus dem eigenen Garten. Sehr positive Atmosphäre insgesamt. Man kann spüren, dass die Gastgeber das mit viel Liebe machen. Viel Verständnis und Einfühlungsvermögen für mitreisende Hunde. Schöne Spaziergänge in die freie Landschaft mit tollen Blicken in die Ferne. Eine kleine Oase und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Liebe Valerie, vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und die Herzlichkeit.
