Villa Jumah

Breakfast was made each morning by Made, the super friendly local help, who went out of her way to access some gluten free brekkie for us. She was super flexible, coming in at 8am to make some breakfast and clean up the previous days dishes and then doing it all again if I came back around 10 am from a surf. All staff left at noon so we could enjoy the arvo in privacy but they will stay if you want. Location was 300m from Atlas beach club, smack in the centre of Berawa but dead quiet at night. If you need anything like motorbikes, transport, Anita the super helpful manager will immediately organise. Any issues, like we had a hot water system break down in one of the bedrooms and Anita fixed straight away - and left a complimentary bottle of red as an apology. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and I would recommend.

the only caution is that the sliding glass doors of the bedrooms dont have a brush seal and so there is a gap for insects. Mosquitos got in on the first night and bit one of us alive. Subsequent nights we defogged before bed and had no problems - just be sure to ask Made to leave a can of spray behind for you.

The villa was exceptional. From the beautiful garden, the large pool, the grass area and the amazing indoor area with its large glass doors overlooking the pool and its very modern touch. The friendly staff was always there to help us and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We really enjoyed the TV room upstairs but also the proximity to the cafes in Berawa and Finns beach club at the beach.
