I would definitely come back

The location is amazing - less than a 5 minute walk from any type of shop/business that you need, a 24 hour grocery store, countless street food options, the metro station, everything. The owner is wonderful. São Conrado beach is about a 15 minute walk from the hostel - it's a very beautiful, much more chill alternative to Ipanema. Rocinha is in fact awesome. It's a very bustling, lively, dense neighborhood. I felt welcomed, safe and comfortable staying there. The truth is, it's actually much safer than most of the other areas that tourists usually visit in Rio. The air conditioning greatly exceeded my expectations - they keep it plenty cool in the bedroom when people are sleeping.

The hostel is very small and there is not much common space. If you need a quiet spot to do online work, for example, it may be hard to find. There is only one bathroom, and when lots of guests are around you may have to wait awhile to use it.

Os hóspedes não me deixaram dormir e o som mto alto do bar abaixo. Meu carregador horas antes de ir embora, ele não tinha sido derrubado mas jogado pra debaixo da cama. Algum hóspede tentou furtar e esperou q eu não fosse perceber q eu daria falta. Ou que deixasse pra la. Mas pelo preço não tenho oq reclamar né
