Argassi Hilltop

We really enjoyed our stay at Argassi Hilltop. The villa is even better than the pictures on this site. The location is stunning with amazing views down the valley to the sea. The house was very clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was very efficient which was ideal on hotter days. The swimming pool was a good size and perfect to relax around with a cold drink. We spent the mornings exploring the island and mid afternoons by the pool. And evenings trying different restaurants. This location is ideal for those who want to get away from the busy tourist spots. You will need a car. The house is 20 mns away from the airport and in just a few minutes, you can be in Argassi. We’ve discovered a few good restaurants - Target (with amazing views and Greek cuisine) and Charlie Chaplin. Make sure you book in advance and ask for a front row table. Exploring the island by car was a nice adventure. Don’t miss Zakynthos town and go up to the view point of Bohali where the panoramic views are spectacular, in the evening especially. There are some good restaurants there too. Gerakas beach with the nesting turtles was our favourite but we also explored many others. We wish we could have stayed longer as everything was perfect and George, the owner, was very nice and helpful.

The view was outstanding and such a peaceful location away from the crowds. Only a 2 minute drive though to Argassi which is at the bottom of the hill. Can't wait to return!
