Wonderful with wine

What a wonderful, relaxing place. The owners are friendly and helpful and serve up an awesome breakfast. The rooms are a bit tiny but cozy...and the room fridge has wines from the owners' family brand at a great price. Sip a bottle as you sit on your balcony, looking over the Mosel at the vineyards beyond. We had a great stay. Recommended.

The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom.

One wonderful place to be in between Cochem and Zell at the Mosel river

On top of everything being great, I particularly liked the many details of making the stay memorable. For instance, rooms don't have numbers, but they have beautiful names. Also, there is lot of thoughtful decoration allover the house. The lady of the house is so kind and social. I will definitely go back. There is ample space for storing your bicycle in the garage.

I liked everything. Here are just some notes to remind myself and other travelers of good practice when checking into a property like this. I should have called them to let them know that I arrive after 8pm. (Terrible weather slowed me down.) In fact, I should have sorted out dinner options for such a late arrival. Everything worked out fine. (I had a great spaghetti frutti di mare nearby.)

Perfect hosts and hotel to explore the Mosel

Perfect location for exploringthe region or a drink at the end of the day. Excellent, attentive hosts who recommended hikes, restaurants, and car-free adventures. Highly, highly recommended.

Alles was goed en een gezellig verblijf in het hotel gehad.

Het ontbijt was heel goed. Alles was aanwezig. Gezellige sfeer door meneer en mevrouw zij deden alles zelf. De bushalte was dichtbij heel makkelijk. We konden gebruik maken van een gratis bus en trein kaartje voor alle dagen. Het informatiebureau was naast het hotel de aanwezige mevrouw gaaf veel informatie. We hebben twee keer in hetzelfde restaurant gegeten was helemaal top. We hadden een ruime kamer en groot balkon. Auto parkeren kon voor het hotel.

Het hotel lag aan een drukke straat, kan lastig zijn 's nachts.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Wir sind sehr freundlich von Familie Zenz empfangen worden und unsere Gastgeber hatten während des ganzen Aufenthalts ein offenes Ohr für uns. Von Wanderempfehlungen bis Fragen zum Weinanbau, alles wurde freundlich und geduldig beantwortet. Durch die inkludierte Gästekarte konnten wir die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kostenfrei nutzen, das Auto konnte daher während des gesamten Aufenthalts stehen bleiben. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker, alles was man für den Start in den Tag braucht. Das Ei wird bei Ankunft im Frühstücksraum in der gewünschten Form (gekocht, Spiegel- oder Rührei) frisch zubereitet. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer zum Hof mit Minibar (mit Wein des Weinguts zum normalen Verkaufspreis), Wasserkocher und TV. Auf dem Flur gibt es noch Räume für alle Gäste, dort kann man lesen, spielen oder gemeinsam TV schauen. Einzig das Bad hätte ein wenig geräumiger sein können, das hat unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht getrübt.

Heel goed ontbijt, zeer verzorgd. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Goede wijn aanwezig. Parking dichtbij. Voor de kamer, zicht op Moezel gevraagd en bekomen.

Overdag een beetje geluid van voorbijrijdende auto's op de straat.

Ons verblijf Ferienhaus Zenz was geweldig!

Het ontbijt was bijzonder goed. Niets op aan te merken. De eigenaren (man en vrouw) waren aardige en behulpzame mensen. Voor ons een adres om nog een keer terug te gaan. De locatie is prima. Dicht bij Cochem op fietsafstand.

Geen opmerkingen. Het was voor ons een aangenaam verblijf.

Fantastisch

Alles was top. Het echtpaar dat het hotel runde was supervriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam. Het ontbijtbuffet was heel verzorgd en uitgebreid met elke dag verse producten en verse eitjes naar keuze à la minute gebakken door de gastvrouw. De kamers waren ruim en netjes, wel warm maar met 30° is het overal warm en er was een ventilator en mini koelkast in de kamer. Fietsenstalling met mogelijkheid om electrische fietsen op te laden.

Alles Spitze-gerne wieder.

Das Ehepaar Zenz ist alleine schon eine Reise wert. Sie verkörpern Gastlichkeit auf höchstem Niveau. Wir erhielten viele hilfreiche Hinweise für unseren Aufenthalt. Die vom Chef gekochten Frühstückseier waren immer auf den Punkt serviert😊 Solche Gastgeber kann man nur weiterempfehlen

Unterkunft mit Wohlfühlfaktor

Netter Ort direkt an der Mosel, nicht überlaufen von Touristen. Radweg direkt gegenüber. Möglichkeit an der Mosel ein Kanu zu leihen. Gastgeber Ehepaar sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Blick auf die Mosel. Ein Traum. Nachteil, die Straße geht direkt vor dem Haus vorbei, was zeitweise etwas laut war.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei Familie Zenz

Bei Familie Zenz herrscht eine familiäre Athmospäre. Schöne Lage an der Mosel. Parkplätze kostenfrei direkt vor der Unterkunft. Zimmer sind gemütlich und das Bad ist geräumig. Alles tipptopp sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hof und somit keinen Strassenlärm. Frühstück umfangreich und sehr lecker. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt :)
