This is a superb location, right on the shores of Loch Ness. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The room and beds were clean and comfortable and the kitchen and lounge area were large and welcoming and lots of activities to join in with. We really enjoyed the terrace area and walking to the little beach by the shore, it was beautiful. Shop available too, and breakfast available for an extra small cost. A great hostel to stay in along the GGW.

The location was second to non for the views, there was a comfortable social area and a deck overlooking loch ness. I woke early and went for a swim in the loch (Very Cold). They had a quiz night the night I stayed and a part from not everyone speaking proper English, it was good. There was a pool table as well. They had some delicious local drinks you could buy. Guests were a variety of young and old.
Kitchen was over crowded as everyone seemed to want to cook at the same time. I purchased a frozen meal that was way overpriced. I think curtains on the beds would be good as well as some lockable draws under the bed to store your bags securely. It was too far away to walk to any local pub (verge to thin to walk any distance safely anyways)

Good for a short stay, beds are comfortable, there were no shelves in our room to put our clothes, showers and toilet shared and clean. The shared kitchen is spatious with lots of refrigerators to store our food, well equipped with kitchen utensils, although not always in best condition, but that is to be expected in a shared kitchen. The common room was comfortable, with great view over Loch Ness. Everything was cleaned every day. Large parking lot. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful.
I was lacking shelves in the room.

We have stayed here a few times and loved it, this time was still a nice vibe and views are shading comfy clean
Unfortunately I have to say it was still amazing but the staff outnumbered the guests and in evening we couldn’t sit by the fire or cook when we wanted to but we don’t stress about that but when next day staff all congregate and as a guest you are excluded from the fire area maybe just due to end of season but wasn’t same as before.
Rob was lovely and considerate but not sure he noticed all the staff taking over the whole living area.
I still like the vibe of this place and different people every year so would still return as comfy beds and good facilities,
