    1/5 Stars – Absolutely Pathetic and Unhygienic! Avoid AC Mist Munnar at All Costs My stay at AC Mist Hotel in Munnar was a complete disaster. Basic amenities were nonexistent – there wasn't even handwash in the bathroom, forcing me to buy some from a local market. The white curtains in the bathroom were filthy and stained, resembling tattered ICU bedsheets from a government hospital. This is marketed as a "trust-based" homestay, yet they've forcibly converted rooms into a hotel without providing even the bare minimum for travelers who've journeyed far to reach Munnar. Staff offered zero assistance; I had to drag my 25kg trolley bag myself up stairs and through the property – no help whatsoever! Very poor service overall. This unhygienic dump is the worst hotel in Munnar. If you enjoy self-service drudgery and want to "donate" your money to incompetence, go ahead. Otherwise, steer clear – I will never recommend it!

    Good and clean hotel. No house keeping staff staff to help you with luggage. Also no room service. No lifts or inter-comm if you need to connect to reception for help. you have to climb up stair up to reception desk every time if you need anything. No lifts which is required as reception or entrance is on the top floor and rooms are on the lower floors. So if you have a baggage then difficult to manage specially when no bell boys are available. Also for 2 guests, only one towel was provided with soap and shampoo. Refilled glass water bottle provided in the room. water dispensing machine was there on the floor. it has a dormitory arrangement also. Its Church property used for both commercial and religious purpose. Which is a bit awkward. A chapel is inside the property and sisters/nuns are also residing in the same building. Its more kind of hostel than Hotel for budget traveler. But if you are getting a room for double occupancy under 1500 then value for money. If more than this then not advisable specially for the family traveler with expectation of the services like hotel.
