    We stayed at Hotel One Eighteen in Hong Kong from May 29 to June 1 for 2 guests. The hotel has a modern and clean design, with compact but well-equipped rooms that include basic amenities like a small kitchenette, comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. Its location in Tin Hau is very convenient, just a short walk to the MTR station, with easy access to Causeway Bay and plenty of nearby food options.

    Location is great; the business suite is spacious by HK standards and having a harbour view. However, our stay was marred by their lying manager. What happened was that I booked this business suite from this hotel precisely because their Agoda listing stated there would be a washing machine. However, upon checking in to the allocated room 2802, I discovered the kitchen cabinet space that was supposed to house the washing machine was sealed up (see photos). So I went down to the checkin counter to ask about it before anything was unpacked. The manager on duty, Mr Spencer Choi from his name tag, claimed that washing machines were phased out from 2 years ago and advised me to do my laundry at the laundry shop opposite. This was a blatant lie because upon contacting Agoda's help desk (thank you for being efficient and helpful), we were shifted to another business suite on level 30 that has a washing machine. Hotel management, please educate your staff on proper customer service! I can understand if the business suites with washing machines were currently occupied, but effort should be made to check when these rooms would be available, instead of brushing off with a lie! This is not the way to do business - no integrity and no sincerity! Thankfully, Agoda helped to contact Mr Jacob from this hotel who helped us with the room change the next day, and was helpful and customer oriented throughout the rest of our stay. Thank you Mr Jacob!
