Conveniences: The hotel is around 15 minutes away from Hakodate Station, with many restaurants on the way. However, the Bus and Tram car which you will need to reach all the major tourist attractions is only around 5-10 minutes away. Facilities: The Onsen entrance is at the first floor, which has the coin washing machine/dryer nearby. Will recommend.

We stayed for only 2 nights and were later told that housekeeping is provided only for stays of at least 3 nights. This policy was not communicated to us during check-in. When we raised the issue, the Mandarin-speaking staff member said that the matter was “arguable,” which was not a reassuring response. The main issue is the lack of transparency and communication upfront. We are understanding guests and would have accepted the policy had it been clearly explained to us in advance. However, after spending the entire day out exploring and returning to find our room still in a mess, we were extremely disappointed, as we had expected the room to be cleaned. A simple explanation during check-in would have helped us manage our expectations. Unfortunately, this experience left us with a very disappointing impression of the hotel’s service.

The room was poorly maintained, with stained bed sheets, a stained blanket cover, and dirty chairs. The bedding also had an unpleasant smell. Parking cost JPY 550, and the accommodation tax was JPY 300 per person per night. Breakfast offered an extensive selection.

Front desk service was unwelcoming. We were ignored upon arrival at 2:10PM until someone told us to wait until 3:00 PM. The room had good space and amenities, but the washroom smelled like urine and the AC emitted a foul odor. Parking was frustrating. Even though I paid for parking at check-in, no guidance was given. Returning late at night to a full lot, I had to walk in and ask the front desk before they handed me a sheet with off-site parking locations. On the check out day, housekeeping knocked and tried to walk into our room before the 11:00 AM check-out time.
