Our 5th visit. It’s private. Large space for the dog. Woodland for shade, meadow to play and stream to paddle for the dog. The gypsy caravan is very comfortable. Pitch black. Nature sounds. Good to come here to recover, relax and rest.

Beautiful setting and gorgeous set up - tranquility at its best. The Romany caravan was so comfy to sleep in and the cabin is super equipped, the log burner is just so warm and cosy. There is no cell reception which we loved, we had a real detox from our phones.
There’s a hob and a microwave but no oven do plan your meals, but there is a BBQ outside.
The outdoor area is full of wild birds, squirrels and other wildlife.
Lots of people return to this property and I can see why from the book in the cabin where people write about their stays! Check it out for the best eatery recommendations and where to visit 😊

We stayed in this back in 2011 and it was like going back into a time warp as it hadn’t changed at all. It was still as magical as the first time we stayed here.
We found that the sofa in the cabin could have been more comfy and we couldn’t really relax on the sofa due to it being quite hard. It didn’t bother us, but if you are wanting to chill more, watch movies and listen to the sound of the fire, we felt the sofa could have been better to sit on.

We really liked the place. It was so nice to stay in a nice quiet place! Thank you so much! Hopefully, we can go back again to run away from the noise and the rush!

We adore this place, it's our 2nd visit. Me & my hubby spent my 50th birthday there last year, so we were delighted to go back. Just beautiful 😍
That we couldn't stay longer!

I bought a 2 night stay for my son and his girlfriend as a gift so didn't stay here myself.
My son told me that it was an amazing setting, so beautiful and peaceful. Very cosy and clean with everything you need.
Easy drive to a number of beaches and a local shop that sold anything they needed.
They really enjoyed having a fire and sitting round it on the evenings and said that the wagon was very comfy, having a great night's sleep both nights.
Prior to them going, communication was great from the owners with detailed instructions on how to find it.

Amazing setting, so peaceful just watching and listening to the wildlife around us and only a short trip to the coast.

All was perfect, we were there twice this year and we will be back 👍
It could be a little cleaner outside but it wasn't a problem

Nothing this place has everything you need for a peaceful and tranquil retreat

Beautiful peaceful location, lots of garden birds. Bed clothes were clean, toilet, shower, sinks were also clean.
A cosy and cute cabin.
There was nowhere to hang clothes (they had to stay in suitcase), nowhere to store food, only half a toilet roll for 4 nights, nowhere to hang wet clothes/towels. The Wagon had slugs inside, cobwebs, seating cushions covered in hairs and slug trails. The outdoor snug - the throw/blanket on the seat needed a good wash. The cabin was grubby, hairs all over settee, floor needed mopping, when opening the fridge door could see all the black and dirt underneath, cobwebs and dirt/dust everywhere. I expected rustic but not grubby, gives the impression its never thoroughly cleaned just the basics undertaken between visitors.

I liked the secluded location and the fact that you have all the land to yourself and don’t come across any other people, heaven 😃
The mattress was very firm but that’s not a deal breaker

Everything the facilities are exceptional, everything was clean and tidy, had everything we needed, the location is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Bird spotters paradise and wildlife paradise, sitting round the fire watching the stars.
Sadly the weather decided to rain, which made things a bit muddy and harder to keep everything clean, wellies are a must!

Good nights sleep. All facilities worked well. Excellent small wood burner.
The outside areas in desperate need of tlc. Half a toilet roll and a used bar of imperial leather soap not exactly welcoming.

The location is perfect. A very friendly neighbour who we bought fresh eggs from. A little hidden gem, away from day to day life. We’ve had a few hard months due to a family bereavement ,so needed relaxation time ❤️
Everything was perfect

Had stayed here twice years ago , I think there are new owners . The place has a different feel to it still lovely but more polished and country cottage feel than rustic
and quirky. I supposed we have seen the two sides of it. The area is stunning and there are lots of little different places to be and take it all in . This is a birdwatchers paradise, we miss the woodpecker who came real close to our coconut suet hangers. The outdoor undercover area with firepit great if weather unpredictable. Gypsy wagon cosy and lovely.
A slight niff of dogs, inside the cabin ( not the waggon) aware it’s dog friendly but if you don’t have dogs .......

Location is lovely, loved the self check in and location. Pretty little wagon and the cabin has all the mod cons and enough heating etc
Loved the bird feeders and food.
Peaceful and quirky stay
The bedding was damp and smelt fousty so used own sleeping bag and blankets.
There were hairs on the side of the mattress on the wooden bed slats so think this should be hoovered between stays.
The paints were a great activity but not many left so looks like they could do with a top up.
Totally missed the hammock as didn't notice the canvas hanging up by the rocks until the moment of leaving

Loved loved loved everything. This place is amazing. Peace and beauty. Not for the immobile as there are steps and some uneven ground but everyone else should try it!
Nothing about this place not to like. If I was coming again for the first time I would bring bird seed and also logs. We had one sack of logs from the butcher but unfortunately took the last one 😩

It was remote, peaceful and relaxing! The place was clean and comfortable. We’ve already booked another trip for later in the year.
