Locatie is ideaal. Vlakbij centrum,strand,station. Lekkere brasserie vlakbij. Bed is prima. Aardige host. Ondanks dat het aan een drukke weg ligt, geen last van geluidshinder gehad.

Het bed was zo goed als proper juist het laken had een bloedvlek. Verder rook het bed hard naar geurverfrisser voor de eerste 2 nachten. Verder was de badmat ook niet al te proper.

Alles eerst moeten oppoetsen bestek was weinig het achter af zelf moeten bijkopen glazen wat er niets voor cava moeten zelf gaan kopen kon niets afwassen er was geen warm water

Wir würden diese Unterkunft bei einem weiteren Trip in diese Region jederzeit wieder wählen.

Besonders glücklich war ich über die Qualität des großen Bettes/der Matratze, denn ich habe daheim (trotz mehrfachen Matratzenaustauschs) seit einem Vierteljahr morgens regelmäßig Probleme im Lendenwirbelbereich und hierdurch häufig unangenehm kurze Nächte. Die 4 Nächte in Herrn Kuijpers Apartment waren die reine Freude und ich (wider Erwarten) zu 100% frei von Rückenbeschwerden. - Begrüßenswert fand ich auch das Angebot, kostenlos zwei bereitstehende Fahrräder zu nutzen - wir sind jedoch ausschließlich mit der Tram an der Küste entlang gefahren, da ich gerne mein Gewicht halten möchte ;o) - Die Küche war mit allen Annehmlichkeiten/Utensilien (Kühl-/Gefrierschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Geschirr, Bestecke) ausgestattet, die das Herz begehren könnte. - Das Fernsehgerät (bzw. der Receiver) bot angenehmer Weise neben ARD und ZDF die Möglichkeit, auch mal Videos und bspw. youtube Clips mittels Bluetooth vom eigenen Handy auf den angenehm großen TV-Bildschirm zu übertragen. - Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns mit 5 Min. Fußweg zum Bahnhof als ,,Basis" für unsere Ausflüge nach Brügge und mit der Straßenbahn nach Knokke und Oostende ideal (Brügge ist in diesem Zusammenhang natürlich der eindeutige, aber teilweise auch heftig überlaufene ,,Star'' der Region (allen anderen hier genannten Orten konnte ich - nicht zuletzt wegen der mitunter üblen Bausünden entlang der Strandpromenaden eher wenig bis gar nichts abgewinnen). - Ein großer ,,Delhaize'' Supermarkt befindet sich knapp 15 Min. Fußweg entfernt, ein kleinerer ,,Carrefour'' ist in der Hälfte der Zeit in der (wenig malerischen) Fußgängerzone zu erreichen. - Herr Kuijpers war sehr freundlich und hat mir aufgrund meiner Begeisterung über das wunderbar bequeme Bett 6 Tage nach unserer Rückreise noch den Matratzenhersteller und seine Bezugsquelle schriftlich mitgeteilt :o)

Die Hauptstraße vor dem Apartment ist mitunter recht stark befahren, sodass v. a. laute Zweiräder, LKWs und Rettungsfahrzeuge bei geöffneten Fenstern deutlich zu vernehmen sind. Da ich eher der Typ ,,Schwitzer'' bin (tagsüber wurde draußen ,,wettermäßig'' die 20°-Marke immer noch leicht überschritten), haben wir stets mit leicht geöffneten Fenstern und der Unterstützung des (bereitgestellten) Standventilators geschlafen, um ein wenig Luftzirkulation zu erzielen. Aber ich bin - wie erwähnt - leider auch eher der ,,unverfrorene'', schnell schwitzende Typ.
